Standing there paralyzed, my eyes slowly begin to move over to Miki. She was long gone. Where did she go?
Jeff was on the ground rolled up in the fetal position.  "Hah, baby." I muttered under my breath. He looked over at me with tears strolling down his eyes and instantly got mad and stood up, making his way toward me.
"Say that again, and I just might have to take you out to dinner." He said very deeply with a smirk, kinda making me regret calling him that. Now he'll probably be bugging me all the time to go on a date with him.
"Sorry, I got Titans to kill." I softly said back, giving him a good wink as I walked to the stage and took the mic out of Erwin's hand and began to make an announcement.
"Why are we all standing here? The Garrison is probably dying left and right trying to protect the townspeople. Let's head out and help them! There probably is still a little more time before the town is completely destroyed. Cmon! Get in your squads and head out!"
There's a feeling in my gut that The Commander was very impressed with my speech, because as I was getting off the stage, I see him in the corner of my eye with a half smile among his face, clapping with the rest of the people. Everyone quits clapping and grabs their gear that they have sitting in front of them and immediately runs out the door.
The door was crowded. I don't understand how and why there wasn't any more than just one door, there should be some big ass garage doors in here for us, considering we have so many people.
Commander Erwin was right behind me as I was trying to get out of the door, he tapped me on the shoulder and said a few things about my speech and how he was very impressed with the way I took over so easily and without hesitation. He also said to me;
"That kind of work can get you pretty far in this legion, keep it up and I might even let you become your own squad leader."
I couldn't help but smile. "Thank you, Commander. I will definitely keep that in mind."
I gave him the salute and made my way out the door. The smile on my face became brighter and brighter the more I thought about it, and I'm pretty sure that Jeff noticed.
"Whatchu so smiley about?"
Just then, my horse came running up to me and was ready to leave. "Sorry, your brother wants to take me away from you. I'll catch you later!" I laughed and rode away on my horse, heading toward the gates of wall Maria. The dark green cape on my back was fluttering in the wind that was being created by the horse I was riding. It was very peaceful up until we reached the gate. It was terrible, the whole survey corps was surrounding it, we couldn't find a way in with all these civilians piling through it.
The best I could do was go through these people and see how bad it is for myself. It probably took a good ten minutes to make my way in, but when I made it, it was devastating.
