Chapter 8: You Hurt Me.

*Anoras POV*

"Are you ,Ok?" Asked salamis opening my door.

I was on my window chair looking outside with tears in my eyes. Its been 1 full week of me and barry's breakup. He hasn't contacted me at all but I've heard about him on the news and he's saving people again.

"I'm ok. Just need to be alone." I said.

"You've been alone for a whole week. I'm staying." She said and sat down on my bed.

"I just want to be alone, Salamis." I said.

"No, just tell me what happened between you and barry." She said.

"Nothing, he just dumped me and i'm fine." I said.

Salamis stood up and scooted me over and sat down next to me and hugging me.

"He really hurt you , didn't he?" She asked.

I couldn't hold it in anymore and just busted out crying like a volcanoe.

"He did and It hurts, It really does hurt." I cried.

"Its gonna be ok." She said.

"No its not, I don't know why it hurts, make it stop." I cried.

Salamis hugged me tighter.

"Ok, how about this, Were gonna have a girls night and eat ice cream and watch annabelle or the notebook." Salamis suggested.

"No, not the notebook that was so, like 2 years ago." I said feeling a tad better.

"Ok, I'm going to go to the store and get some food and ice cream and you are gonna take a shower and get ready for a girls night." Salamis said.

I stopped salamis before she got up.

"Thank you for being here for me even though you weren't welcomed." I smiled and wiped off my tears.

"Its no problem, I'm your big sister, Its what I do." She said and then left.

Salamis left and I headed to take a shower.

*Barry's POV*

I was at home eating pizza from Papa John's and watching football on T.V. I heard a knock on the door so I got up and answered it. I looked up and got punched in the face and I fell on the floor holding my nose. I looked up and saw Anoras sister, salamis, standing in the door way.

"What, what was that for?" I asked holding my nose.

"For my sister. You really hurt her, you jerk. She hasn't left the house in a whole week and now she's gonna eat her sorrow away with ice cream. I don't know what you did to her but you broke her and now I broke your nose. Don't let me see your face around my sister again." Salamis said standing over me.

Salamis turned to leave.

"No, no,no ,no you don't just get to come in here and act like anora is the only one hurting, I'm hurting as well. Do you know that It was hard to break up with her?" I said standing up.

"Why did you?" Salamis asked.

"To protect her." I said.

"From what?" She asked.

"It doesn't matter, cause she isn't the only one hurting! I've cried every day this week. But its the only way." I said.

"For her or for you?" She asked.

"For her." I said.

"Are you sure or are you being selfish and only thinking of what would happen to you and not her." She said.
