Cassandra
Ugh! It's morning, I may have thought that I could maybe sleep myself into oblivion. It didn't work.Dragging myself out of my bed I make a face realizing I have a lot of unpacking to do. Why? Why God? Why must you do this to me?
Getting into the shower after hearing my mother shout my name was torture. Like why does school make you wake up this early for no reason?
Oh no! Shoot! I'm gonna be late!
I grab a granola bar and get into my car setting the GPS cause I can barely remember anything.
Pulling into the school parking lot I realize I made it just in time. Whoo! That was a workout. As I look around I see it looks exactly like the highschool you see in the movies. Jocks, cheerleaders, and nerds. Ugh! People are so judgmental. Like seriously cliques.
I walk up to a boy with nerdy glasses, which I personally think is really cute. Don't hate.
"Hey, um do you know where the office is?" I ask him feeling stares on the back of my neck.
"Uh, yea, you um, like go straight and then take a right."the boy replies.
"Oh thanks, uh I didn't get your name yet? My name is Cassandra, but you can call me Cass." I say with a warm smile.
"My name is Jace. I'll um see you around, I gotta get to class." He says just as the warning bell rings. As we bid our farewells, I feel proud of my self for making a new friend.
"Ai you ugly girl!" I hear a screech behind me.
"Are you talking about yourself? You know it's not good to talk in third person." I say with sarcasm and sass lining my words.
"Hmph. You should really watch your mouth, my Daddy's the head of the school board." She says with a smirk.
I lean in close to her ear and whisper, "I don't give a f*ck who your daddy is. And I don't care what you do to me, correction try to do to me. But, don't you ever try to threaten me." My voice is deadly even to me. As of right now a crowd has formed and everyone has heard my voice loud and clear.
My "new beginning" picks itself up and throws itself out the window.
