I woke up to the smell of pancakes. It must be (y/n). I don't understand how she can be up. Aren't most little girls asleep at this time. Then the door busts open. It's (y/n) in her pajamas. Which is actually just one of my old stitched dress shirts that was died pink due to a laundry incident with a red sock. My shirt reached down to her ankles and the sleeves were also too long so I cut them of lazily. Making the end of her sleeves uneven and curvy like a two year old cut them off. She huffed. "Sensei you need to get up! Honestly it's already nine get up!" I groaned up did get up. "I made crepes! They are like a fancy version of pancakes!" She explained as I grabbed my glasses. "I know that (y/n). I'll be down in a minute." She nodded triumphantly and skipped out of the room.  I heard her tiny feet stomp down the stairs. I yawned and stretched. On first glance everyone in the world just sees an ordinary cute little girl. I chuckled at the thought. If only they knew what she was really like. I got dressed and headed downstairs. There sitting on our table was our breakfast. (Y/n) always made it a priority for us to eat breakfast together. I sat down at the table and took a bight. "So?" She asked. "What do you think?!" I nodded and put my hand on her head ruffling her hair. She giggled. "Nice job (n/n)." She smiled and sat down to eat with me. She took a bight. Then frowned. "It's missing something they are always missing something" I shrugged. "They taste good to me." She pouted for a moment. But then switched back to her cheery self. "So what's the plan for today?" "A few dissections, maybe a few experiments." She nodded. "Well I'm afraid I won't be able to help today." I looked at her confused. (Y/n) is a lot of things to me a student, an apprentice , an assistant. Some might even say daughter. But out of all of those things an assistant is defiantly up there as most accurate. So her not being here for a dissection is odd and out of character. I stare at her oddly. She just laughed. "Silly. Did you forget what day it is?" "Friday." "No it's grocery day." "Since when do we have a grocery day?" She gave me an annoyed look. "Since forever. If we didn't have a grocery day there would be no food in this house." She crossed her arms. "Honestly you don't notice or appreciate all the things I do for you!" She's right. If (y/n) wasn't here then this house would be trashed and I probably would have starved to death by now. However I wasn't going to let her know that so in order to throw her off I responded, "Since when did they allow five year olds to go grocery shopping?" "I'm 10!" She yelled storming upstairs out of rage. I smiled and took another bight of my breakfast. This is really good.

I had gotten dressed and headed out to the store. Once I got there I started to gather up the stuff on my list. Which included:
Laundry soup
Hand soup
Rubber gloves
A set of new cutlery(since sensei used the old ones for a dissection)
Eggs
Milk
Chicken
Just to name a few. While I was getting eggs I had an amazing idea. I was going to make cupcakes tonight! Completely forgetting my shopping cart and the rest of my list, I set out to find the ingredients for my favorite dessert. After hours of shopping for the right ingredients I left the store happy and excited to make cupcakes. Instead of taking the long safe route home I decided to take the short dangerous route. Honestly I couldn't wait! I skipped cheerfully down the alley, my pig tails and puffy pink dress bouncing along. I heard a noise coming from behind me. I stopped and turned to look for the source of that strange noise. Nothing. I shrugged and turned back around. Only to be faced with a giant hungry kishen.

I had left a little after (y/n) had left to go shopping and was now heading home. Lord Death wanted to talk to me about helping out some students from his school as well as replacing Sid. I wouldn't mind teaching a class but I don't want to leave (y/n) by herself at home. I walked up to the door and pulled out my key. From inside the house humming could be heard. I unlocked the door and opened it. "(N/n)? You home?" The humming paused for a moment so she could answer "In the kitchen" she then went back to humming. I peered into the kitchen. There were cupcake ingredients all over the counter. (Y/n) was on a stool next to the counter facing away from me as she stirred some batter. There was a body bag on the table. It was bloody and blood oozed out of it. "I found it." I looked at the back of her head and raised an eyebrow. "Found what?" I could feel her smile. "The missing ingredient silly." I was about to ask her what she was talking about when she turned around. Her face and apron were stained with blood. Her face filled with madness, she had crazed eyes, and her signature Cheshire Cat smile. The cutting board behind her was revealed when she moved. On it was a severed arm with the middle finger missing, a spleen, and an eyeball. If you peered into the bowl you would see the vanilla batter had a pink tint to it. As she mixed, the batter revealed hidden ingredients including the missing finger. She dipped her finger into the batter. Her finger was caked in batter and contained one of her special ingredients. Which was no doubt a piece of someone's small intestine. She stuck her finger in her mouth and licked it clean. "There we go!" She said excitedly. "Just right!" She finished as she smiled innocently. She then turned her back to me once more and continued to make her cupcakes. I smiled as well and thought once more. If only they knew what she was really like.
