Chapter Nine: Recovery with a Bonus

The next morning you woke up to your phone ringing. You got up to go grab it but you were to late, and it got sent to voicemail. You saw you missed 12 texts from Jimin, and 3.... well 4 calls now frm Jimin.
You got some other clothes and went into the bathroom and took a shower, brushed your teeth and hair. Then you went back out and put them away. Your phone rang again and this time you were right there and answered it

',','Phone,',',',',','call,',',',',','

Jimin: "O__" he was cut off by you.
You: "Hey Jimin before you start I didn't blow you off. I got hit by a car on my way headed over to you, crossing the street. It's a shock to be alive. And then the doctor wanted to use me to become popular, or make their hospital more famous. So I had to faked my death kinda, and just got released. But I have to await to speak with a different doctor for my court date. So I'm so sorry. I was walking straight to you before I was hit." You finish and gasp for some breath after saying everything so fast.
Then silence surrounds you for some time. After a couple of more moments of waiting you speak up, "Um, Jimin you still there?" You ask and pull away to still see the phone is connected.
Jimin: "Omg I'm so sorry I didn't know. I'm sorry if the voicemails were harsh I was just hurt and just didn't think something came up. I'm so sorry can I come and see you?" He asks so nicely and sounds kinda desperate.
You giggle at this "Sure you can come to my hotel and pick me up and we can go for a walk. If you want to?" You kinda state and ask.
Jimin giggles a little: "Of course I would."

The phone call is over. T u gave him the directions to your hotel and he told you he'd be there soon. You guys said your goodbyes and he hopped in the car to come pick you up and you changed your clothes again.
You decided to wear a skirt that went down to your ankles and a long sleeve shirt. You made sure they covered your bandages on you legs and arms. Then you threw a hoodie over that and put the hood up so it could cover up the neck brace a little.

~20 minutes later~

Jimin sends you a text telling you that he is at your apartment and coming up to get you. You wait for him to come to your and when he starts knocking on the door you open it immediately, so your friends aren't waken up. You tell him your friends are sleeping then you guys head out. You notice the whole you are walking to the car that he looks kinda sad. So you dicided to speak up.
"Hey Jimin, why do you seem upset?" You ask him smiling like crazy
He looks up at you and shyly smiles at you. "Well because I feel bad for what had happened and jumped to conclusions about what happened to you and why you didn't show. I should have just waited for you to tell me." He tells you looking down and opening the doors to the hotel exit.
You smile and stop in front of him at his car. "Look it's fine that you jumped to conclusions, I did the same when you were at the venue. I don't mind. I just hate you seeing me like this." You reach up and take your hood off and then the neck brace off and smile that your neck feels better. "I will get better. I'm just happy I get a chance to hang out with you and didn't blow my chance." You look down and smile then look up to him and smile again. After that you lean in towards him and give him a kiss on the check, not pecking him on the lips. Even though It was so tempting for you.
While he stands there a little shocked and processing what had just happened, you open the passenger door and hope in. You get in slowly, wincing at some off the pain.

Jimin's POV

She stopped in front of my car and looked at me and said "Look it's fine that you jumped to conclusions, I did the same when you were at the venue. I don't mind. I just hate you seeing me like this." She reached up to her head and took off her hood and I saw a neck brace around her neck and I felt bad. She then took it of and smiled at me so happy then continued to talk again saying, "I will get better. I'm just happy I get a chance to hang out with you and didn't blow my chance." She looked down like she was embarrassed but still smiling, then back at me and smiled. After that she leaned in towards me and gave me a kiss on the check.
I didn't know what to do or how to react. It happened so fast and ended to soon. I was trying to process why she would give me a kiss. Maybe I can ask her.
I was knocked out of my own thoughts when I heard a car door being opened and shut. I noticed she got in and was waiting for me politely.
