After we ate, Marianne and Mick went off to go watch the sunset and Keith and Anita went off to go watch the musicians, so, I was stuck with Lou, who wouldn't shut up. "Ya and I heard you're releasing some new songs and stuff in a couple of weeks" she babbled on, I rolled my eyes, I hadn't gotten out more then two words the whole night. "Ones called Ruby Tuesday, y'know my favorite day if the week is Tuesday and my birthstone is a Ruby, I was born in July and-"

"If I give you my autograph will you please leave me alone?"

"I might.." She linked arms with me and I hastily slid my arm out, grabbed a pen from my pocket. "Wait!" What now?! I turned to look at Lou and she pressed her lips against mine. I heard a flash and pulled back, looked over at the flash; a photographer, the press! Oh shit! The photographer gave me a thumbs up before running off with his camera. I stepped back and dropped the pen. "Ohh I've always wanted to do that! Now, for you being good, here's a photo I found, I was walking around and I saw you and then I saw you reach for the picture so here's a thankyou gift bye!" The words came so fast from her mouth as she stumbled into me and I felt a piece of paper in my hand, then she turned on her heel and sped off into the night. I walked over to a bench and sat down, in shock. Well, two things happened tonight; got my photo taken, and I received a photo. Katie's smiling face seemed to say: "hey don't worry! Everything will all work out later!"

"Sure it will" I muttered under my breath as I made my way back to the hotel.

When I opened the door, I found an unpleasant sight. Anita and Keith must've wanted to come here instead. My eyes widened and I sighed, disgusted, they could've at least locked the door or given some warning first! "Aaag! Guys!" I said loudly in a high pitched voice as I tip toed around, they were making out on the bed I slept on yesterday, ew. I snatched the letter before booking it out of there. "You hear something Anita?" I heard someone (Keith) ask on the other side. I chuckled under my breath before walking back outside, well now I have nowhere to stay! I walked around town and just decided to go watch the musicians.

Katie's POV:

I must've played that record a thousand times over, I must've played it so many times. Because now I just stared at it, I didn't want it leave my hands; it was like having a piece of Brian to keep with me.

Brian's POV:

I was in a horrible nightmare. It started out lovely, but now I was scared out of my head.

It started with a sidewalk, I was walking along; enjoying the weather. No fans were around, my bandmates weren't around either, so, I just walked. "Hey Brian!" I turned around but nobody was there, "mister Jones!" "What do you want?" I tried to say, but it seemed like my voice had disappeared, "Lewis?!"

"Elmo Lewis!"

"Haha"

"Ya what a nice name"

"Oh Brian!"

A whole chorus of voices pressed down on me and I fell to my knees, the trees and scenery melted away and I was left in a white room. But still the voices insisted; "Bri Bri over here!"

"C'mere now"

"What are you doing?"

"Answer me?!"

"Can you hear me at all?"

"Don't you want something to believe in?"

I leaned down, these voices were crushing me! I pressed my hands against my ears and squeezed my eyes shut. What was happening?

"Hey Brian!!"

"Brian him get over here!"

"How about a picture?"

"Jut one picture!"

"Get over here!"

"They need you!"

It all sounded like fuzz on a record player, and it was getting louder and louder. I pressed against my ear harder and harder, kept my eyes shut. STOP! "Stop, please stop" I whispered to everything, and anything, that would listen.

And just like that it did, the voices stopped and I felt the sun warming my back. Well this is odd, I thought. I felt sand under my knees and I opened my eyes, I was on a beach. Turning around and opening my eyes slowly, I released the grip I'd had on my ears. Directly in front of me was water, so, I moved back. I scooted backward until I felt a towel underneath me, looking over I saw a girl. She had a big sunhat on and her eyes were hidden by sunglasses. "Oh, hey Brian" she looked over and I looked back, I opened my mouth to speak back before realizing that nothing would come out. "Come on speak then" she moved over an nudged me, I closed my mouth. "Well, you can speak, can't you?"

I shook my head and she stood up, reached for my hand. I don't know why, but I looked up and grabbed it. We started walking along the sand. "It's a shame you can't speak" she said, I nodded, "because I like to hear what you could say if you could, hungry?"

Again, I nodded and she pulled me along to a small seaside restaurant. "Here, you wait here and I'll go get us some fries" and with that she started walking across the road. I saw it coming before she did. I saw the car come barreling down the street. "No, get back!" i opened my mouth to say but still no sound came out. "Come back!" I still tried though. She was halfway across the street when she heard it coming to, she looked back at me and I stretched my hand out to help her, she reached out, but it was to late.

She lay there in a broken heap, the car continued on, barely noticing her. I ran up and knelt down on the road. I rested her head in my knee and blood dripped from the corner of her mouth. I knew she was dead, or close to dying then. Her sunglasses fell to the ground and I knew her name. "Oh Katie," I whispered, finding my voice had come too late.
