The Assembly

Jace's POV

Hey Hannah, I say, I wanna talk to you some more can I get your number? I see the spark in her eye again, I see the joy, I see the real hannah and not some fake. But is the hannah I see. The happy hannah. The potato. The joyful hannah there too?

My POV again

I can tell jace senses stuff about me. This is bad. It's better if people don't know anything about me. Nobody would get hurt. The assembly starts and it's the on man show thing about cyber bullying. Jace sits next to me and says "I understand everything now." I reply saying "what you just found out is only a scratch on the surface of who I am. It would take a lifetime to figure out who I really am and in the end all of the lies, the hate, the pain, the sorrow, would come out." "And I wanna spend that lifetime with you figuring that out." He replies "what" I say.

Jace POV

Half way through the assembly I see her zone out. I can tell she is broken. Like a little toy drum that a kid smashed. I want to help fix her but first i have to break her even more. The assembly ends and we are walking to 9th period which is social studies and I have to tell her the news. "Hannah" I say reluctantly, "yeah?" She replies. "I don't want to have to tell you this but I must." I see the look in her eyes get sad again. "I have to go back to Cali at the end of the week. I go to each school in this area for one day a week but I think there will be a meet and greet at the big mall here soon."

My POV again

This news was heartbreaking just when I thought everything would be ok for once it went right back to bad. But there would be a meet and greet and at least that was good I asked him one final question before he had to go. "Will you at least meet me at the park at the end of the year for the school event?" "Sure." He replied and that was the last I thought I would ever see jace. Well, until the end of the year.
