The Vampire Prince wants ME?! Wait. Vampire!?

Chapter 1

     Some people think I'm insane but I'm not. I just have my days. I know when to be crazy and I know when to be serious. Most of the time there's no need to be serious so I'm crazy, but I haven't lost my mind completely. Just bits and pieces. Oh and I love little kid movies! I love to what cartoons. I may be 18 but my mental age is like 5.

     Oh and my name is Katerina but everyone calls me Kat. I am in my last year of high school. Thank God! It's he11, okay? Plain and simple. And tomorrow is the first day. So today my friends and I are going to go last minute shopping for clothes. We are not girly girls, so we don't always meet up at a mall or anything like that. No. Our usual hang out is the skate park. Yes we are tom boys. And when I saw we I mean me and my two best friends Lay (short of Layla) and Cam (short for Camerine). I'm on my way to the park now.

     I hop on my skate board and take off to the park. With flips and tricks I can get there in 10 minutes. Pushing myself I can get there in 5. But me being me, I do flips and tricks. I arrive in just under 11 minutes. I know cause I timed myself. Trying to beat my record of 9 minutes with tricks.

     When I get there, Cam and Lay are already there waiting, leaning on Lay's vintage Mustang convertible, with the top down.

     "Hey guys." I say coming to a stop right in front of them.

     "Hey Kitty." they say back. They are the only ones that can call me that. Anyone else and I will punch you in the face. I only tolerate it with them cause they are the sisters I never had.

     "Come on lets get this over with." Cam says with a sigh. I throw my board into the trunk and we all pile in, with Lay driving and me in shotgun, and Cam in the back.

     While we were heading towards the mall, we listened to the radio and one of my favorite songs came on. Selena Gomez: Come And Get It.

      We were all singing at the top of our lungs with our hair blowing wildly in the air. W e got to the mall and we dared to go in.

     "Alrighty girls. The faster we do this the faster we can get back to the park, so lets do this." I said while clapping my hands once.

     We all walked towards Hollister and bought what we could afford with our pay from our job. We all work at the local auto shop. Like I said, we're not girly girls. In fact we're working later so that's why we're here so early.

     After Hollister we went to Arepostal (?). Then we went to the food court. We shop mainly only in those two stores. We all got a few t-shirts from both stores and a pair of shoes each. Cam and I got Vans while Lay got Converse.

     "Okay, so what do y'all want. Your turn to pay Cam." I said. We all got what we wanted from Subway and Cam paid. We all pay when it's our turn. I'm up next. Then Lay then back to Cam.

     While we were eating we all heard a familiar high pitched giggle. We looked to see Wendy. Florida's most trashiest trash. She sleeps with everyone, but geeks and emo and loners. Next to her, her boyfriend, Mike. He sleeps with everything with legs. It truly disgusts me.

     Behind them were Wendy's minions and Mike's football team. And yes, he is the star quarterback of the school. I admit he is cute, but I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole, if that. Unfortunately for us, they noticed we were there. Yay. Feel free to note my sarcasm.

     "Oh look girls. It's trash and its even trashier friends." Wendy squeaked. I swear that's the only thing she does.

     We all remained silent hoping they would just go away so I would pull the extentions out of her dumb blonde head. Oh and another thing about me. I have a slight anger issue. Nothing major, but I have been known to lose my cool often. I'm working on it though. But again we're not so fortunate.
