 ''Bye sweetie, Ill miss you so much.'' My mum said whilst trying to kiss me one last time. ''I have to go now mum'' I replied trying to squeeze out of your tight hug. Eventually I loosened her grip enough to get going. ''I'll call you tomorrow mum, bye!'' Although I love my mum, I couldnt wait to be independent. I was starting college and moving out from home for the first time. This was a time for a new life, new experiences . . . a new me.

I had rented a apartment across from my college. I hadnt met my roommate yet but I was about to. I opened the door, walked into my new home. I checked out the kitchen and living room, it was old and tattered but I liked it. It was mine. As I walked up the stairs I met my roommate. It was a if time slowed down. ''This is the college life now, and we have to get to know each other, plus ill introduce you to some new friends.'' Chris said. I did want to experience new things I thought to myself. ''Ok Sure.'' I answered.

We arrived at the party and it was in full swing. Chris pushed his way through the crowd and I followed close behind.  ''This is Liam, Jen and Nic'' Chris said introducing me to his friends. ''Guys this is Niall.'' He told them. I was nervous but excited, Chris got two cans of cider from the fridge and handed them to me. ''Is this a friends house?'' I asked. ''No, dont have a clue who lives here.'' Chris replied. He was so confident in himself, I couldnt help but be attracted to him. I wonder would he care if I was gay? For some reason, I didnt think he would. He just seemed like that kind of person. But I best wait for another time to tell him I thought.

Everyone was drunk at the party now, including myself. Chris' friend Jen grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the toilet. I thought she was going to kiss me but instead she sat on the toilet and pulled out a bag of pills. She swallowed one and put one in my hand. I was nervous, I didnt want to take it, but I wanted to fit in. I wanted to make friends. So I smiled and put it on my tongue, feeling it go down my throat. From then I felt free. I danced with Chris, Liam, Jen and Nic until I woke the next morning.

I woke up to what I thought was an earthquake. I was in a bed but it was wasnt my bed. I was still dazed and not sure what was going on. ''Oh fuck ya!!'' The sound of skin hitting skin. I opened one eye. In the bed, beside my was Chris fucking a guy. The guy was moaning in ecstasy. Chris was going fast and hard. I couldnt help watch but I didnt want to get caught.
