Some people wonder why we give up things we love for people. Like why do we give up our friends for our family, or giving up some family members for our spouses. It's in our human natural to give up something that we love, just for that person we love dearly.
Rainbow Dash grave up soccer for Pinkie Pie, and she does feel upset about it but she learned that doing it for Pinkie Pie's sake of mind, and also her own safetyl, she was able to mend herslef more and also take care of her own mind.
Rainbow Dash felt more calm without soccer, since she didn't have to worry about her getting judge by her so called friends, and not worry about being late for pratice or make sure her cleats was clean, the only thing she had to worry about was her ankle and her relationship with Pinkie Pie.
She looked over at her tv and listened to her parents talk about nothing, but what tehy wanted for dinner. She knew that her parents wouldn't notice her boot, since it has happened but not in the way that it happened this time. She looked down at her phone and unlocked it and tapped Pinkie Pie's number.
Rainbow Dash: Do you wanna go out tonight????
BabyCurls: Like a date?? :)
Rainbow Dash: Yeah!
Rainbow Dash: I'll come by around six and we'll go out.
BabyCurls: Yeah!! Sounds amazing!!! :D
Rainbow Dash chuckled at her behavior before getting up off the couch and towards her bedroom, since she needed to take a shower and thinking about where she wanted to take Pinkie Pie tonight.
Seh closed her bedroom door before walking towards hercloset. She pulled out a pair of blue jeans shorts and a long sleeve gray shirt with a rainbow across the chest area, she grabbed a towel and walked isnde her bathroom, she sat on the toliet seat and took off her boot and took off her clothes and turned on the shower before walking inside the shower, putting all her wieght on her other leg.
She washed her hair and body, then shaved her legs. She sighed as she let the warm water beat against her back and closed her eyes and started to put pressure are her hurt leg, she gasped and leaned against the wall and turned off the water and looked down at her ankle and frowned at the bruises and swelling and she closed her eyes before grabbing her towel and walking out of the shower.
She walked insde her room and dried her body off and sat on her bed and pulled on her undergamernts then grabbed her shorts and pulled them on, she slipped on a pair of socks then her boot then she sighed as she stood up, since all the pressure was lifted off by the boot, she slipped on a tanktop then her shirt. She dried her hair and looked at the time and saw she had about thirty minutes and she was taking her parent's car, she sighed and grabbed her hair tie and put her hair in a french braid then grabbing her phone and shoving it in her back pocket.
She walked downstairs and grabbed the car keys and walked out and she stepped inside the car and drove her ways towards Pinkie's house and she played the radio, which Fall Out Boy's song Irresistible came on and she nodded her head along with the music.
She pulled up at Pinkie Pie's house and she smiled as she turned off the car and shoved the keys in her pockets then walked out the car and made her way towards her house. Rainbow Dash knocked on the door and she waited for Pinkie Pie to walk out. Rainbow Dash saw she was wearing a light pink sweater with light blue jeans, she had on white vans and she smiled at Rainbow Dash.
"You've straightened your hair?" Rainbow Dash asked as they began their way towards Rainbow Dash's parents car.
"Yeah," Pinkie Pie said as she looked over at Rainbow Dash's face. "You don't like it?" Pinkie Pie asked as Rainbow Dash shook her head and smiled.
"I love it! I'm just used to my curly baby." Rainbow Dash said as Pinkie Pie blushed and sat in the passenger seat.
Rainbow Dash chuckled and shook her head as she walked inside the car and she started the car and drove towards the diner. The radio played, but Rainbow Dash listened to Pinkie Pie instead, since she liked hearing about Pinkie Pie talk about something she loved and for some reason it filled that missing place in her heart.
She drove up towards the diner and they walked inside, hand and hand, and headed towards the back since Pinkie Pie needed to tell her something. Which made Rainbow Dash a little worried, since she was afraid that Pinkie Pie was going to break up with her.
They sat down and ordered their food and began to talk about graduation which was coming next Friday, and thinking of how they wanted to celebrated it, since they wanted to include the others also.
"Rainbow Dash?" Pinkie Pie asked as Rainbow Dash looked over at her pink haired girlfriend.
"Yes?" She asked, crossing her fingers she was afraid that Pinkie Pie was gonna say we're over.
"I'm going to quit cheerleading." Pinkie Pie stated as Rainbow Dash widened her eyes and put her fork down on the plate.
"You shouldn't!" Rainbow Dash said as Pinkie Pie shook her head. "This is your dream Pinkie Pie, why give it up?" She asked as Pinkie Pie looked down at her hands.
"Because you can't do soccer," She started as she looked over towards Rainbow Dash. "I don't wanna keep doing my thing if you can't do your thing." She said as Rainbow Dash shook her head.
"No, you should keep doing cheerleading," Rainbow Dash said as she placed her hand over Pinkie Pie's shaky ones. "Because you're really amazing at cheerleading, and you was right. A team protects not tries to hurt each other. We need to think about your happiness. And if cheerleading is your happiness then keep doing it." Rainbow Dash said with a small smile and Pinkie Pie shook her head.
"It does make me happy," She said as she looked away then back at Rainbow Dash. "We'll find something else that makes us happy, because you make me happier than cheerleading." Pinkie Pie said as Rainbow Dash smiled.
"Are you sure you want do this?" Rainbow Dash asked as Pinkie Pie nodded.
"Yes." She said as Rainbow Dash smiled and sighed as she nodded.
