"Everythings is going to be alright!" Hunter said as I was crying in the passenger seat. We got to the hospital I ran inside and straight to the lady sitting at the desk.
"Hi, I need to see my mom! Kelly Smith." I said talking fast.
"Okay please have a seat we will bring you back in one sec." She said pointing to the waiting room.
"I AM NOT WAITING IN THE......." I begin to say until Hunter grabbed my arm.
"Everything is going be just fine." He said looking me in the eyes.
"Fine" I said walking over to the waiting room holding Hunter hand. We were sitting there for about 8 mins.
"Avery Smith? Your moms ready" The nurse said walking into the waiting room motioning me to come into the place where all the patients were. We walked into my mom's room and she looked terrible.
"Mom?" I said starting to bawl. As I sat on the edge of her hospital bed.
"Hi honey" She said. I could barely understand her because her face was so beat up. Hunter put his arm around me. " I love you so much you know that right?" She said slowly reaching to touch my arm.
"Yes I know that." I said touching her hand. " You're going to be okay right?" I said as my eyes had so many tears that everything was blurry.
"Im sure I'll be just fine!" She said so happy. She was always the type of person that even in toughest moments she always seemed happy. "Are you going to stay home by yourself? Or you can go over to Hunter's." She said smiling
" I'll probably go over to Hunter's." I said looking at Hunter. I looked back at my mom and she started to fall asleep so I stood up to sit down at one of the chairs in the room.
"Avery Smith. I'm going to have to ask you to leave." The nurse said running into the room we were all in. The machine that measured her heart started to beep faster and faster as the seconds went by.
"Whats happening to my mom?!?!" I asked as about 6 nurses came running in.
"Your mom's heart is starting to fail!" She said taking all of the cords off of my mom and started wheeling her out of the room and down the hall. I was walking with my mom holding her hand as they were rushing her down the hall.
"Ma'am you can't go in there." Said a cop standing outside of the big double doors. I let go of my mom's hand as they took her into the room. I turned around and look at Hunter.
"What am I going to do? They said her heart was beginning to fail!?' I said looking at Hunter as he wiped my tears. He kissed me on the forehead and embraced me in a tight hug.
