i was in the car with my dad returning home from camp nou
Hey um sweety i wanna ask you something- dad said
yeah dad tell me- i said
if there's a boy you can tell me and i wont get mad- he said
oh dad if only you knew
no no no there's not a boy dad- i said
ok i was just making sure that you trust me cause we always talk about everything but lately you've been distant- he said
Dad i trust you and if something ever happens you and mom will be the first ones to know ok-i said
ok deal- my dad said
we went home and i went upstairs to my room
i check my text messages and saw one from cris
hey cutie how's everything i hope you're not having trouble with your dad
btw i cant get you out of my mind- he wrote
everything's ok thanks and ...... aw im flattered- i wrote
Antonella... I wanna see you again-he wrote
Um it's difficult-I responded
He didn't message me back I hope he didn't get mad but I have no choice I can't do this to my dad

Later at the dinner table
So Anto we'll be leaving for Argentina in two weeks for vacation-dad said
My mom smiled
Oh boy I'll never be able to see Chris
Um ok-I simply said
That's it you always get excited when we go there ?-dad said
We'll have lots of fun-mom said
Yes it's just now that I'm older I'm gonna miss my friends-I said
They're all gonna go on vacation with their parents baby-mom said

Well I guess Chris will go to Portugal with his family so maybe we should leave this whole thing
between us it can't work like this
