I sat through the rest of my classes, uncomfortably I'll admit, and was relieved when I heard the final bell ring. Let me tell you, World History and then an in-class essay in English Lit. is probably the worst pairing ever.
Well, I was relieved. And then I remembered what happened during lunch.
So now I'm sat on the wooden bench in front of the parking lot, waiting for my brother and his mates to tear me apart. Maybe they'll be too busy with Niall to care about me. It's kinda hard to believe that it's still Niall's birthday; it feels like ages ago.
I was snapped out of my thoughts as I saw Harry's black Range Rover roll onto the grounds. I was about to stand up and walk over when a girl shrieked.
"THAT'S HARRY STYLES!!"
And... cue the commotion. All of a sudden, at least 100 girls and even a couple guys were running towards his car. Harry quickly realized what was happening and backed out onto the main road and sped away. So much for a peaceful afternoon...
I felt the buzz of my phone, signaling I had a text.
From: Haz
Meet me in the back of the school. Near 5th avenue. And make sure no one follows you.
I slipped my phone back into my backpack and discretely stalked off.
It took me a while to find the back is the school; this place is fucking huge. When I finally reached it, the Rover was waiting for me. Sighing in relief, I quickly ran in and shut the door, slumping down into the cushions.
I heard a chuckle from my right and looked over.
"Rough day, huh?" I groaned.
"Tell me about it." I suddenly remembered the events of this morning and jumped up.
"Harry are you okay? I thought Z was picking me up? I thought Louis didn't want to see you? I thou—"
"Woah woah woah. Slow down Bella," he laughed. "I'm fine, Zayn's checking on Niall at the hospital, and Louis and Liam are meeting with management so I was the only person left," he explained calmly, pulling out of the school and slipping on sunglasses and a hat.
You'd think he'd have tinted windows after 3 years in the limelight, but nope.
"So you're not in trouble?" I asked. He laughed.
"Oh no. Trust me. I'm in trouble, but I'll be fine for now. You, on the other hand, are in for it," he shot me a sympathetic smile. I groaned and slumped even deeper into the seat.
"One joke! One harmless, little joke and he goes all berserk on me!" I cried in frustration. Harry frowned.
"Zach spanked you over a joke?" I nodded.
"Might have been disrespectful, but it was a joke nontheless," I justified, pouting. Harry cracked a smile.
"You're cute when you pout. You know that? And geez, I would've let it slide," he reassured me. I blushed at his remark.
"That's what I told him! But then he got all defensive and shot back 'well guess what Harry's not your boyfriend; I am,'" I mimicked, a scowl plastered on my face.
"Maybe you should break up with him then, if you're so unhappy," Harry teased, turning onto the highway.
"Nah, he's nice normally. He cares is all," I shrugged. Harry scoffed.
"I wouldn't call that caring."
"Really? What would you call it then?" He was really starting to get on my nerves.
