Robin pov
The team had just gotten Zucco into the bioship and we were all on our way to Gotham police station. Babs and I were heading there on my motorcycle. "So when are you going to tell the rest of the tea your real name?" she asked.
I sighed "Well Wally's known for a few months now. Bruce told me that I could tell the others when I wanted but I just don't know how. Babs... how did I tell you?"
I could just about feel her smiling from behind me. She had her arms wrapped around my waist and her head lying in between my shoulder blades so that she wouldn't fall off. "Well I remember it was when we were about nine or so... we had been going to the same school for a little while. We got to know each other pretty well from when Bruce invited my dad to parties. Well I remember one night I was walking home from the park when a guy with a knife jumped me. I was so scared until you flipped off of one of the rooftops and tackled him. Only n your excitement you did a very distinct flip that just days before you had bragged to me how you were the only person left in the world that could do it."
I smiled "The quadruple flip."
She nodded "It also didn't help that when you ran over to check on me you called me Babs. Sure from when you met my dad he could have told you my name. Heck you could have even known what I looked like. But no one but you has ever called me Babs."
I smiled even bigger as we neared the police station "And if anyone else ever does then they'll have themselves a black eye."
She nuzzled her head into my back a little more which sent shivers down my spine. She whispered in my ear. "I wouldn't have it any other way..."
(A/N - don't really have much to say... Stay whelmed and feel the aster!)
