Chapter 10

Barbara pov

Dick and I pulled up in front of the police station and quickly jumped off his bike. We ran inside and went straight into my dad's office. Dad looked up at us and his eyes just about fell out of their sockets. "Barbara you're ok!" he jumped up and gave me a bone crushing hug. After a few seconds he finally released me and turned to Dick "Son how can I ever thank you?"

Dick smiled and shook his outstretched hand "It was my pleasure sir. I would never let anything happen to Barbara."

He looked down and saw that are hands were laced together. He smiled "And for that I thank you. I want you to take good care of my daughter."

Dick smiled and looked over at me "I will sir. Trust me... I will."

I nudged his arm "Hey earth to Romeo!" he blushed "Aren't you forgetting something?"

He thought for a second "Oh ya!" he then turned back to my dad. "Mr. Gordon. I believe I might have someone you'll want to meet." He raised an eyebrow at him but followed him back to the front none the less. Standing in the middle of the room was the team with Zucco still in hand cuffs. "This is Toney Zucco."

Dad smiled "Young Richard Grayson will be very happy when he hears that you've captured his family's murderer."

Dick glared back at Zucco "I'm sure he will be..." I put a hand on his shoulder and he started to calm down.

Dad looked over at another policeman "Take him to questioning." He nodded and took Zucco from the team.

"Oh Robin!" Zucco shouted over his shoulder. Dick looked over at him and raised an eyebrow. He man smirked "Surprise..." he broke his hand out of the cuffs and quickly took the gun of the policeman... and pointed it straight at me...

"BARBARA!!!" Dick screamed. Then stepped in front of me...
