Derrik's POV:
I wake up and see that Mackenzie is still sleeping. Wildly, just like they day I first met her, or stole her I guess. Today is our wedding day. I get up put on some regular clothes until its time for me to get ready. I decide to go to the church where the wedding will be to make sure everything is 'set up.'
I take my video camera into the doors of the huge Church.
"Butler get the ladder." I say and he is already walking in with the ladder.
"Sir, are you sure you really want to do this? It can ruin this whole island!" He says concerned.
"Nah I don't really care. And neither do they. Its all a front. For her parents. And plus she has been acting happy in public. So at the wedding, she will look happy. And America will be off our case."
"But you lied to them! They won't be off your case!" Butler says.
"Shut up. You're only a dumb butler. What should you know?" I say now climbing up the ladder with my video camera in hand. Once I get up there I hold it up to where I want it to attach itself to. After 30 seconds the robotic legs come out and grapple the pole. I climb down the ladder and smile up at the camera. Its not on yet, but it will be for the wedding. And broadcasted to the president of the United States.
Mackenzie's POV:
I am woken up by an annoying squeaky noise. I open my eye to see two bouncy girls who look just alike.
"WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?!?" I scream running to the end of the bed. Hm, just like the day I met Derrik.
"We are your BEST FRIENDS. And your bridesmaids!" They say at the same time. "C'mon! Lets get you ready for your wedding! You are so marrying Prince Royals!" They say grabbing both of my hands and pulling me off the bed. The women on this island are STRONG. I stable myself and regain my breath. I study the two twins, they are pretty. Why doesn't he just marry one of them?
"You know, I think I'm not good enough to marry him." That was a damn lie. "Maybe one of you should marry him. You're both prettier than me." I say smiling and hoping they will agree, win him over, and he will release me.
"Oh my gilzalas!" The say in their accent. "The soon to be queen called us PRETTY!" This isn't working out how I thought it would. "But we will never be as pretty as you! Like your huge hazel eyes..."
"They are contacts!" I say putting up a finger.
"And your amazing body." One says.
"And your long hair." The other says
"First off, I'm a midget compared to all the women on this island! Including you guys. In my country, you would be models for sure. And my hair is considered medium length in the U.S." I say. I don't like putting myself down but all of this was true. The women on this island are like beautiful models. And it didn't matter what length their hair was.
"Your so nice! I'm glad we have a nice queen. I never saw myself as pretty before you said all that. Thanks! And by the way my name is Espanza."
"Same thing Espanza said. Thank you! And my name is Aspanza. And we are twins. I'm not sure if you have them in your country." Aspanza says smiling. Espanza does the same.
"Oh I'm quite familiar." I say.
"Well are you ready to get married?!?" They say now taking me down the hallway.
"Not really. Not at all." I say but they ignore me. "I hate him." I mutter so low I can hardly hear myself.
First place I get dragged into is a room that I can tell is a salon. They shampoo my hair in this stuff that makes my hair super curly and smell like berries.
