Mackenzie's POV:

Since the day I started my period my parents been acting really weird.

Like I cant put my finger on it but my dad keeps trynna have these talks with me and my mom keeps asking me about boys.

The other night I didn't get too into it, I kinda used my dramatic period situation to get out of telling her about Jordan.

It only worked for so long because here she is now, asking me about "boys".

"Mackenzie? Do you think its about time we sat down to talk now?" My mom asked me looking in the rearview mirror.

All I did was look down and sigh.

"Well?" She paused, waiting for me to speak up.

"Umm, you know the girl that cut my hair? She likes Jordan, and when I say she likes him she's SPRUNG off him. She probably thought by her cutting my hair was gonna make him not like me anymore but she was wrong! He was still there for me after she did it."

My mom looked at me so sideways I thought I had my face on upside down.

"So you mean to tell me that lil bitch cut your hair over a boy! Who the hell is Jordan. See I wish I would've known this from the jump!!" My mom was PISSED.

I could tell because she would get hella worked up and hella ghetto when she got mad.

"Well she's in juvie now. And Jordan is a nice boy, he's from the city. His mom is a nurse at kaiser he said her name is Toya. And his dad he hasn't really told me about, I didnt really ask either"

"Toya? What's her last name?" She asked.

"Watts"

"Wow , what a small world! Girl she's one of my clients and Jordan's daddy just happens to be a basketball player for the Warriors! Jason Watts #18."

"Whaaat! Daddy loves the Warriors this is too cool! I can't believe he never told me that. I'd want everyone to know if my daddy played for the Warriors "

"Yeah well he's not the best player, he hurt himself a long time ago so hes not a starter player anymore."

"I guess that makes sense, he lives on the same side of town that Chanel does. I wonder why he didnt tell me though."

"Just wait until your daddy hears this, I bet he won't be as up tight about you having a little boo as he was before.

I chuckled a little bit.

"My crazy daddy? Pssh yeah right mom. But I guess well just have to see."
