Jordan's POV:
I just moved here from San Francisco and I kind of like it. Alot of the girls say im cute , and they give me stuff all the time. I guess I'm popular. I love basketball and I love listening to music!
My dad is a basketball player from the Warriors and my mom is a nurse for Kaiser. Pretty weird of a match but for the most part were a pretty normal family when my dads not traveling.
The two of them met in highschool and have been down ever since. My mom got pregnant with me her senior year but still managed to graduate. So did my dad and he went to college at USF.
Mackenzie is the prettiest girl in school. She has deep green eyes that go on for forever, pearly white teeth and a nice ass for her age. I want her to be my girlfriend but I'm scared ill be too shy to talk , or even now be rejected because of what happend.
I knew I shouldn't have done that to Mackenzie. She didn't do anything wrong to me. I just didn't want to get played out to my friends. They're into girls, but not as much as I am with Mackenzie. Maybe not in the same type of way either. They're always messing around with the girls in our class; talking dirty and touching them. The girls act like they like it. Even some of Mackenzie's friends do, but not her. She's different.
I don't think I can tell her how I feel without looking like an idiot. That makes me feel hella weak!
I want to be just like my dad, married to the girl that I came up with. Hopefully that can be Mackenzie! I'm a little young but thats how I really want it to be. I don't want to waste time going through girls all my life when I already see something in her.
The rest of that day Mac and her friend Kay stayed to themselves on the opposite side of the classroom. I knew I messed up, BIG TIME because she wouldn't even look towards me.
"Man she won't even look at me!" I said with an attitude.
"Girls are just crazy bro, its all a game. Watch sooner or later she'll come around. It'll be like nothing ever happend." Hassan said with a smirk.
"Idont know man, she seems pretty pissed. You embarassed her in front of everyone! And made me look like a straight up ass hole!"
"Well what you want me to do nigga? Say sorry or somethin? It was a joke! If she cant take that how you gonna deal with her? Im ya boy and I make jokes. She's gonna have to deal with it." Hassan said nonchalantly.
"Look, you are my boy. But I also want her to be my girl . So can you please apologize," I begged. "I told you how I feel about her and I want you to make it right. My dad says flowers can always fix things, so you can apologize today and maybe tomorrow I can bring her some flowers.
"Ugggh, okay bro but only because its you! I wouldnt even give a fuck if it was anyone else!" Hassan said seriously.
"Yo Mackenzie!" Hassan blurted trying to get her attention.
She knew it was him so she wouldnt even turn around. She just continued playing connect 4 with Katrina.
"Mackenzie." He said walking towards her. I got up so I could follow to make sure things would go right.
"Can I help you?" Mackenzie sighed as she rolled her eyes.
"Yeah , can WE help you. Ass hole." Katrina stepped in front of Mackenzie and said.
"Look man, I'm sorry for making fun of you today. It wasn't right, and I'm sorry I made you cry."
It actually shocked me that Hassan was really serious while talking to Mackenzie. I've never seen him like that.
"Yeah okay whatever. It's dismissed but its not okay." Mackenzie said , standing with her arms crossed looking from him then to me. "And you Jordan?"
" Uh, umm. I'm sorry too, I really liked the valentine you gave me if that helps." I made her smile.
I knew she was hesitant to reply at first but then she blurted out, "Really! I'm glad you liked it! I knew you didn't like chocolate so I got the next best thing. I liked yours too, eventhough it had sports stuff on it. The tattoos were cool!"
"Well I'll have a suprise for you tomorrow. I think you'll like it waaaay better than that dumb ol' card."
"Oh really, we'll have to see about that. Now if you'll excuse us , I believe me and my girl were busy" she snapped back, chuckin duces to me.
"Yeah , boy bye!" Katrina chimed in.
I chuckled a little and lead the way back on to our desks.
"Well you know what this means." Hassan said with a little smirk on his face.
"What? What, what means?" I asked, kind of confused.
"It means You've got her right where you want her! I bet you $5 you wont ask her to be your girlfriend tomorrow."
"You dont even gotta bet me bro, I already planned on it."
