Dylan pushed Lydia in the door. What Lydia didn't know was that he was protecting her, he wanted her to be the first in the door so that he knew she would be safe. Lydia just turned and looked at him. "Oh my gosh" said Kaylee. "Nothing's going to happen anyways." Jamie was looking around the room investigating the people she was with. "I don't know this doesn't seem like just a drill" Jamie said. Lydia started freaking out. "What's gonna happen to us?" she said as her voice began to quiver while she sat down on the floor. Dylan started to comfort Lydia by kneeling down and putting his arms around her. Lydia looked up at him with tears in her eyes and she gave him a slight smile. Dylan said "come on I'll help you up" as he reached out his hand for her to grab, he pulled her up and she said "thanks" as a tear started to run down her cheek. Dylan whiped the tear before it had the chance to reach the bottom of her face. He wrapped his arms around her. Lydia felt so warm in a world that was now so cold. Jamie and Kaylee could only just look at each other after witnessing what was going on with Dylan and Lydia. Jamie asked "is this really happening right now?" Kaylee responded, "well obviously" Jamie said, "well I didn't know." Lydia and Dylan were hugging at this point. Kaylee remarked, "can you guys just admit you like each other now or.." Jamie then noticed that all the other students were all huddled together in the corner. Jamie said, "Guys.. Where is Mr. Davis?" Kaylee and Lydia looked around the room, not grasping what was really going on. The students started to become worrisome. Jamie felt like she had to remain calm and step up as a leader. She started to explain to everyone in the room that it was alright. Kaylee cut Jamie off mid sentence by saying, "weren't we like supposed to cover the windows?" Some kid in the room who was an upperclassmen chimed in and said it would be alright. Jamie glared at him and then ran to the window, she gasped while everyone in the room eyes were on her. The zombies, they're coming. All of a sudden the only thing they could hear were the screams of others.
