The Zombie Apocalypse

It all started on a cloudy Wednesday afternoon. All the boys at school were running around screaming "they are zombies! This is so cool!" Because you know every teenage boy thinks this is the perfect opportunity for their video game skills to kick in and that this is the time to start using them. Jamie, Lydia, and Kaylee were all standing, gathered around talking. Jamie asked "is this like legit?" Lydia and Kaylee both started laughing. Lydia said "no of course it isn't!" Then Kaylee said, "zombies aren't even real, it's probably just a prank to scare us all." This boy who was a tall brunette named Dylan jumped in and said "no they confirmed it." Lydia who has always had a crush on Dylan, said "no there can't be zombies. It just isn't possible." Because she likes to disagree with him because she secretly thinks he's the cutest when he thinks he's right. Dylan said, "well I don't know, they have just said that they have spotted them on the news." Lydia started laughing and said "you watch the news?" Dylan responded and said, "of course I do, it's factual and you can learn a lot about the world by watching it." Lydia knew already that he watched the news. Dylan was kinda dorky and super smart, he always wore glasses and had to know everything about anything. That's what Lydia liked most about him, she loved his little dorky ways. What Lydia didn't know was that Dylan actually had a huge crush on her too. He viewed Lydia the same exact way she viewed him. The only two people that could admit Dylan and Lydia liked each other were Jamie and Kaylee. Kaylee liked to tease the two of them because she thought it was funny how they both denied it. Kaylee said, "come on love birds, the bells about to ring for 7th period." Lydia and Dylan both gasped. Lydia said, "I would never like Dylan." After Lydia said that Dylan soon said, "and I would never like Lydia." They both were standing there looking at each other. Jamie grabbed Lydia's arm and said "oh my gosh you two, come on." As they were walking to class Lydia kept saying how much she didn't like Dylan. Jamie and Kaylee just agreed so that Lydia would let it go. When all of a sudden they heard sirens going off in their town. There was an announcement that happened instantly after the sirens started going off that said, "TAKE COVER, I REPEAT TAKE COVER. WE HAVE SPOTTED ZOMBIES IN TOWN. EVERYONE GET WITH A TEACHER, LOCK THE DOORS, COVER THE WINDOWS. THIS IS TO HAPPEN IMMEDIATELY." Jamie saw the hallways as blurry as everyone started running and screaming. Jamie, Lydia, Kaylee, Dylan and some other students all got into the same classroom. The room was full of kids trembling with fear.
