The Zombie Apocalypse

The glass falls to the floor. They take off in a sprint. Jamie looks behind them. Chased. The zombies are quickly approaching. They run to the exit. When they get outside Jamie scans to see if there are anymore zombies coming. So far, so good. Jamie asks, "where are the rest of the students?" Jamie, Lydia, Dylan, Kaylee, Jake and about 5 other students look around. Kaylee jumps in "yeah! Where is everyone else at?" "I don't know but we better get out of here." Said Jamie. Lydia asks, "but, how are we all going to fit in a single car?" Jamie suggested, "how about we drive a bus so we can all stay together?" Lydia quickly said, "but who do we know can drive a bus?" Jamie answered, "I don't know but we are about to find out." Jake said, "hey I could try it out" with a huge grin. Jamie and Kaylee looked at each other. Kaylee said, "what else do we have to lose?" They all agreed. All of them huddled into the bus. Jake says to himself, "well this is gonna be fun" with a smirk. After what felt like a long ride back to Jamie's house they all get off the bus and run inside. Jamie locked the door. "Mom? Dad?" Jamie shouted. There was no response. Jamie grew worried. She felt a hand on her shoulder. It was Jordan. He comforted her like she did for him. Jamie looked up at him. Jordan told Jamie, "I'm here for you if you ever need me." Jamie said, "I know, thank you." She gave the slightest smile. Jake asks Kaylee since they are safe right now if they could go talk. Kaylee said "of course." Jake started speaking saying, "look I don't know how much time I have to say this, and I know that we just met, but I'm crazy for you. Like madly and insanely in love, and if you think this is way to early I'm so sorry, but I can't hold this anymore. I can't stop thinking about you. Today has been crazy but since I met you it makes my bad days a little bit better. I'll um.. Leave you alone now." He finished speaking as he turned around. Kaylee yelled out, "hey wait!" Jake turned around and his eyes began to sparkle. Kaylee walked up to him and intertwined her fingers with his. Jakes hands began to become sweaty and he gave a nervous laugh. Kaylee had a strand of her hair begin to fall in the front of her face, Jake blushed and tucked it behind her ear. Jake leaned closer to Kaylee and the tension grew bigger and bigger until their lips met.
