Bryce's POV.
I don't really remember everything that happened that day. We were new to the neighborhood and I was a clueless 7 year old...but no matter how clueless I knew Juli Baker needed to be avoided at all costs.
My dad and I were unloading boxes from the moving van when I look up and see a girl around my age peering into the van. She had long brown hair and dark brown eyes. The total opposite of me.
Before she opened her mouth I could have had a *huge* crush on her but things changed very quickly. "Hi! I'm Julianna Baker but you can call me Juli!" She says with a wave. "Hi..." I mumble. "Need some help with those boxes?" Before I get a chance to answer she starts pushing and pulling boxes.
After a few minutes by dad comes out from behind a pile of boxes and asks,"Who's your friend?" "I'm Juli!" She exclaims. "Nice to meet you Juli but I'm afraid your mother is probably looking for you," my dad tells her. "No she knows I'm here," Juli replies. "Bryce why don't you go help your mother unpack," he suggests while winking. I get the hint and exit the van.
Juli follows me to the front porch and grabs for my hand. I had no idea what to do I mean as far as I'm concerned girls have cooties and there she was trying to hold my hand! I try to wiggle away but man, she has a strong grip. I guess we just stand that way because my mom comes out of the house smirking at me. "Oh Bryce who do we have here?" She asks. I brake free and go hide behind my mom. "I'm Juli, I live across the street," she says while pointing her hand at a house on the other side of the street.
The house is run down, paint chipping, untamed bushes, and a wild lawn. Some people should really take some pride into their home.
A lady walks out on Juli's front porch and calls her in for lunch. I walk inside my new house with my mom and we sit down at our new dining room table.
"So, why were you holding hands with this Juli girl, didn't you just meet?" My mom asks. "She grabbed my hand!" I yell. I certainly did not grab her hand and that was for sure. Just as my mom and I were talking about my new school i'd be attending in a few weeks. My bratty 12-year old sister comes down the steps and says, "Look at Bryce he already has a girlfriend!" I get up to hit her but my mother says "ENOUGH! Now come eat your ham sandwiches."Juli's POV.
After years of being the only kid my age in the neighborhood, my mom informs me that a new family, with a boy my age, is moving in across the street. I am overwhelmed with excimer and count the days until they move in.
July 28th, 2009 was the day my life changed forever. I woke up like any normal day and get ready. As I sit around the table and eat my coco puffs, my brothers Matt and Mike fighting over something stupid, I see a moving van outside the front window.
I hurry up and finish my cereal and get dressed. Looking back on it I didn't even TRY and match my outfit, I probably scared Bryce when he first saw me.
I run across the street and look around for somebody, anybody, but no ones there. I look into there moving van and there he is. Bryce Loski.
Bryce had the bluest eyes you could ever see. They were literally electric blue. He had his blonde hair gelled up into a faux hawk. He was so adorable. I was so excited for the memories we would make together.
After helping and meeting Bryce's father he is told to help his mom unpack. He stubbornly walks out of the van and I can tell he doesn't want to go, so I grab his shoulder and miraculously my hand is in his. I felt the world slip away; it was only us. His blue eyes were a galaxy that I wanted to further explore. I was positive he was going to kiss me but when his mother came out and made a comment he got embarrassed and stood behind her. My mother then calls from across the stree for me to come eat lunch, so I say my goodbyes and walk home with a giddy feeling in my stomach.
A/N: Hi guys I hope you enjoyed the first part! Me and my friend are collabing on this story so every other part will be by me and the others by her. We love this movie so much and have been dying to do this for a while! Love, P.
