Juli's POV.
Tonight was finally the night of the dinner. Brandon was coming and I had to pretend that I wasn't mad at him to make my mom happy because she insisted he came. But then there was Bryce.
My plan is to try my best to ignore Brandon and talk to Bryce a whole lot because Bryce has been nothing but nice to me.
I decided to wear one of my favorite dresses from American eagle because it was a formal dinner... If Bryce wore that red polo I will die.
I was in the middle of putting on my makeup when I got a snapchat from Bryce. It was a picture of him IN THE RED POLO. He asked if he looked ok and I obviously said yes. I was finally starting to see what I was missing out on.
I walked over to the Loski's and Bryce answered. I have him a smile and a wink when I walked in. He look at me and said "Jules you look so pretty". That made me melt inside. I said "right back atcha".
Just then I heard a knock on the Loski's door. And it was the biggest jerk ever. Brandon. He looked at me and said "you look gorgeous." I gave him a glance and started talking to Bryce. Rude, I know but he deserves it. I was about to tell Bryce what Garrett told me until Mrs Loski yelled "DINNNNNER". We sat at the table at I sat in between Bryce and Brandon. But I of course talked to Bryce the whole time. When I would glance over at Brandon, I would see the anger in his eyes. You would think he would get the hint...
After dinner me and Brandon and Bryce went outside and just sorta sat around and looked at out phones. Me and Bryce were laughing at this picture when Brandon stood up and said, "That's it Juli. What's going on. Why are you not talking to me you hoe." Anger boiled inside me. Bryce stood up and said "Hey fag what did you just call her?"
That's my Bryce.
The next think I know Bryce and Brandon are throwing punches left and right and I was the only one to break them up.
I was so fed up with Brandon. So fed up I told him, " Go home jerk, I know what you did." He gave me the nastiest look and left without saying anything.
After he left I looked Bryce straight in the eye. We stood like that for a good 5 seconds before I couldn't take it any longer. I smashed my lips onto his. He was surprised for a second but then he gave in too. My lips were almost molded for his. I felt sparks flying and so many butterflies in my stomach... until Lynetta and Matt spotted us and started to make fun of us, of course.
When they went back inside, I said thank you to Bryce and grasped his hand and walked back inside.
I was finally with my Bryce.
My childhood lover.
My perfect match.
Bryce's POV.
I woke up the morning of the dinner party a nervous wreck. I was so nervous/excited.
I started to get ready. I wore my red polo shirt that Juli always swooned over. I sent her a snapchat asking if it looked ok, and she sent me the most gorgeous pictures saying "yessss:-)" Man, I was in love with this girl.
It wasn't long before I heard a knock on the door. It was the Bakers, and Jules looked more beautiful than ever. So I told her. She she said it back which made me extremely happy. But then Brandon came... Brandon said the same thing I said to Juli. The only difference was that she didn't say anything back to him. I was so glad Juli talked to me and not Brandon. With every word she said I became more and more in love.
Brandon sorta just stood there awkwardly. Juli was just about to tell me why she was ignoring Brandon when mom called us in for dinner. Juli sat right in between us and talked to me the whole dinner.
Dinner was so good. After, me and Juli and the jerk went out on the deck. Juli was showing my this funny picture and laughing when Brandon stood up and said "That's it. What's going on. Why are you not talking to me you hoe." That set me off. I couldn't contain myself. So I said "Hey fag what did you just call her?" The next thing I know me and Brandon are in a fist fight. Juli came and broke us up.
I was furious.
Juli said, "Go home jerk, I know what you did." That when it hit me... Garrett told Juli. I should've guessed. Garrett had once told he he has the slightest crush on Juli.
Brandon left and gave Juli and nasty glance.
Juli turned around and started at me for almost 5 seconds until out of nowhere, she crashed her lips onto mine. I was so confused and so happy. I was surprised at first then I gave in. My dream had come true.
The kiss lasted a good 20 seconds until Lynetta and Matt (the lovebirds) came and made fun of us.
The bakers left after awhile which I didn't want them too.
I fell asleep with the biggest grin on my face because I got my first kiss from the girl I wanted the most.
