Jin knew he shouldn't have done what he had the minute he saw the way his friends reacted to his death. He watched as they fell apart.
He watched Yoongi and Jimin break up, he watched Jeongguk and Taehyung distance themselves from each other, he watched Hoseok experiment, and worst of all he watched the love of his life, Namjoon, tear himself apart. He knew Namjoon believed he could have done something to stop him, but the truth was there was nothing he could have done. Jin needed freedom.
He watched them all end it and join him in death, he watched as they continued to live as ghosts, under the impression they were all still alive.
He watched as they all mended themselves in the afterlife.
He watched and waited for them to pass over and join him, he waited for his friends and his love.
He waits.
