Prologue

Once upon a time, Cinderella fell deeply in love. The prince loves her back but that's it. No wedding, no engagement, no happily ever after, just a mere relationship that eventually end because someone came into the picture breaking the chains that bind them through years. Both of them love each other but not until he fell out of love. She remained smitten to him. She was hurt. She felt cheated. She was broken. The end of the story.

Strange as it seems but that's how the story worked. No more happy ever after. She thought the time will come that the tables will turn. The whole time, it was just her loving him, begging for his trust, but not begging for him to come back. She thought that this madness will stop when she finally came back to her senses.

She decided to cut the connections. She detached herself from the people she once held onto. She decided to go on the adventures of life alone. No him and no love. She thought she finally moved on. She thought she already forgot everything. She thought she mastered the Art of Letting Go.

She tried to get rid of the all the things and get her life going. But she didn't know that all along, it's still him. He already casts a spell on her that made her hold a little longer. She's stuck with him like a pathetic idiot. She didn't plan on revenge, ever. She's just waiting for the rain to stop so the sun will shine in her life again. But how long should she wait? Is it months? Years? Or the tables will not turn anymore?
