Chapter 7

Oddballs' Visit

"Surprise!" Wow. Dara's more than surprise to see you in New York, Bom. She's agitated and frustrated, too. She didn't expect that her friend would come and visit her after a month of being away from them and even her boyfriend tag along.

Why does this weird couple end up in her apartment? Great question. But Dara didn't bother to ask them why are they in her apartment at the middle of the night. They even disturbed the working bunny. Sandara's been busy doing her portfolio that shows her works. She'll pass it together with her application form in a university—hoping she could get a scholarship, too. She already attained her college degree in Sungkyunkwan but she feels like she still needs to enhance her skills. Although, she could get a job with her skills, she still thinks that she need to study more about fashion designing.

"What's wrong with your face? Are you not happy to see us?" Bom said while going her way inside Dara's apartment with her bread and a box of pizza she brought earlier as a bribe, since she already knows that Dara would be pissed when they visit her without telling it, especially now that Dara's hiding from them. Not totally hiding but, it's more like it.

"You think you can bribe me with doughnuts and pizza? Why are you here?" Dara cross her arms as she let the couple in. Seunghyun just smiled at her in which she returns with a glare. She saw Seunghyun pout his lips but chose to ignore it. Bom rolled her eyes at her.

"Wow! For someone who left her hometown without telling it to her close friends, you already have the guts to get mad at us? I can't believe you." Bom can only roll her eyes as she takes a sit on Dara's couch. She should be the one who'll get mad at Dara for so many reasons.

"Shut up, Bom. I don't need to be reprimanded right now. Besides... I think my choice was right, don't you think?"

"Yes it is, Noona. But I don't think that not telling it to us especially to the girls is not right. You know how hysterical they could get." Seunghyun said handling Dara two slices of pepperoni pizza since he already knew how Dara used to eat her pizza. She's putting it over another like a layer.

"By the way, Chaerin will visit you after her fashion show in Macau. You know that that girl is in demand right now, like me." Bom butt in the conversation. She followed Dara who's getting a bottle of juice in her refrigerator. She also prepared a glass for each one of them.

"You're bragging again, babe." Seunghyun immediately pinched her nose as soon as Bom settle beside him a two glasses of juice. Dara just grimace while drinking.

"Can you please stop that?"

"Oooh, someone's not pleased with what you did, Babe!" Bom said while smirking at Dara. Dara rolled her eyes and took a bite of the two slices of pizza she put together—like a burger.

They continued telling each other what they've been missing for a month—specially, Dara. It's actually 12 a.m. already when the couple decided to leave but was interrupted when Bom saw Dara's works in her table.

"What are these things for? Are you applying for a job?" Bom asked, her eyebrow's meeting at the center. Dara glance at Bom's way while putting the glasses in her tableware rack after washing it.

"No, I am going to a university who offers a degree in Fashion Designing. The owner of this apartment actually recruited me to be a part of his team, but I refused. He's known for recruiting models if he sees some potential on the person. By the way, he's gay."

"You mean, the guy with a muscular body who's probably hitting the gym on weekends is gay? I mean, he is hot. No, that's an understatement, HE. IS. ON. FIRE! Don't tell me that the bronzed guy is his boyfriend?" Bom sighed dreamily.

"Yes, his name is Troye and his boyfriend is Syd. They're together for a year already and going strong, I think."

"Oh. My. Goof. I can't believe this."

"Hey, Bom Park, your boyfriend is here." Seunghyun nudged her with his elbow and Dara's watching them amused by the way they bicker out of jealousy.

"My bad. It's just that he's—"

"Oh, shut your lips. I'm hotter. Any clothes I wear would looks good on me because—"

"I know I've seen it all even those which shouldn't be shown to others." Dara blushed because of the couple's conversation. Damn, Bom's really ridiculous. She can't even stand what they're talking about.

Have they done it already? Did Seunghyun do Bom? What the hell are you thinking Dara! Of course, they've done it! They've been dating since your high school graduation. Remember, Seunghyun's epic proposal to Bom? You even held the set of heart-shaped balloons.

Dara smack her head with her small fist a couple times. The couple look at her like she's some weird specimen. Ugh, weirdos shouldn't be inside the same room. They will be questioning each other's oddness just like right now.

"So, we're going home, Noona. This girl right here still have a shoot for a magazine tomorrow morning."

"Morning? What time?" Dara asked.

"It's five in the morning, Noona."

"Huh? It's too early!" Dara faced Bom who gave her a goofy smile. "If you have a schedule that early, then you shouldn't have visited me here. You could have done the surprise visit after your schedule."

Bom bite her lips and sighed. "I know, it's just that I miss you, my bunny!" Bom tried to cling on Dara's arm and move a bit closer to her.

"Tch, you're charm won't affect me. You, stubborn lady!"

"I am sorry, okay? I just really miss you! Besides, it's your entire fault." Bom smack her while pouting her lips. Seunghyun's watching the scene happily. He was actually glad that he visited Dara since he also missed her. His nephew, Yeonjun, also asked about his Aunt Dara. Since Dara have been constantly visiting Yeonjun when she's free, together with Bom, the little boy became so fond of the two ladies.

"Ah, so now it's my fault?"

"Yup, you're the reason why my flight's canceled last month, remember?"

"Gosh, Bom, why are you bringing up the past?"

Bom chuckled and kiss Dara's cheek. "We're going now. You know I love you, right?"

"Whatever, Bom. Just go home!" Dara smiled at the couple while following them to the door.

"Answer me! I won't leave until you answer me."

"It's not a question, so I shouldn't respond." Seunghyun chuckled while watching them squabble. Bom stomped her foot like a child not having what she wants.

"Fine! Fine, I love you both, okay? Goodluck to your photoshoot! I always know you can do it. Seunghyun, take care of Bom, okay? I love you, guys!" Dara gave them a hug and finally say goodbye.

"Noona, please call my sister if you're free. Yeonjun's been pestering me to bring you to him. Please call her, okay? My nephew misses you so much, he can even resist his uncle for the past few days when he knew about you being in another country!"

"Don't worry. I miss him, too. I'll call your sister. Bye! Take care, weirdos!"

After sending the couple away, Dara goes back to concentrating and drawing some of her works. She's aware of how near the deadline is so she's already giving her all in order to successfully finish her portfolio.

A/N: Yeonjun, Top's nephew, with Dara above. They are so cute, right?  It's a short update, I think. Since my term would start this coming Tuesday, I think my update would take more time than usual.
