Chapter 15

Since the news broke and with baekhyun who completely shuts you down from his life, you have a hard time to endure. You stopped eating, stopped dancing, stopped singing. Basically, you stopped doing everything that required you to step out of your bed and face the real world. Now all you wanted to do was cry, cry and cry more and that is all what you did for a whole week. You could remember, your eyes remained swollen badly for few days because of it.

The worst part was you didn't have any close friends to support you at that point of time. Your group members? They are busy with the schedule and practices to recover the spots you left. That time, you realised. You only had one person who you'd actually want to share something this personal and that was he himself. That is what will happen when you make a single person the center of your universe.

In the meantime, people are leaving hate comments in your sns and some are asking you if the news that you're dating Kyungsoo is for real or not, ofcourse it is not. But you can't reply it. No matter how much you want to, you can't. You're powerless and weak.

Luhan spends lots of time together with you while morally supports you and continue to give you his best advices eventhough you know he is hella busy in China, but for you, he postponed his schedule first. Like what he said, family always comes first.

One day, he said something that you don't want to hear the most which is, "Dad want us to go home". That phrase which came out from Luhan's mouth somehow points into something. This thing is going to be more serious from now on. When your father involved, it will always ended up worse.

Luhan convinces you to go home with him, taking the same flight so that he would manage to protect you . But, but, people are hating on you and whenever you open your phone, 'Flirty bitch, go die', 'You don't deserve Kyungsoo' and other comments which is really hard for you to swallow shows up. How can you show your face on the public though? What if they boo-ed you in the airport? What if they throw eggs like what people always do to show their hates?

You ask your manager about it, but like always, he told you to do what you want to do not what you should do. Besides, lots of questions came from your members about the relationship which stressed you even more . Whether how is it to be kyungsoo's lover, did he treat you well but the most sensitive thing they asked was, when they questioned about your relationship with Baekhyun. That is when you lost everything and just raged all over them. They shouldn't have ask it and because of the incident, your relationship with them got loose.

Desperate for an explanation about the confirmation of the scandal, you go to meet the CEO before flying to your homeland together with your brother. Yes, you had choose to go away from this country for a while. Probably it is the best decision of all.

Mina volunteers to accompany you to the building that day . You accept her offer openly since she is the closest one with you in the company other than Baekhyun to be honest but you had never open about your personal life with her and she seems doesn't care it which makes you welcome her even more.

"Unnie, we are here", Mina gave you a nudge when the car already reached the destiny . It is cold outside since it is winter now but lots of fans are waiting infront of the building. You chose to enter from the back and fortunately, they couldn't see you running in,

You choose to wear a thick cardigan which your father gave you on your eighteenth birthday because you'll be back to see him in few hours but it is a lot warmer inside. You took it off , putting it on the counter before promising that you'll claim it again later. Along the alley, people greets both of you but only Mina seems to greet back. You don't care whatever revolves around you now. What you desperately want is, an explanation.

Mina waited for you to step inside the elevator in the meantime, waiting for you to clear your mind from the thoughts of leaving. Yup, you already consider whether to leave the group or not since you feel like you're the reason why your group is falling right now. The other members don't seem to like your presence in the group anymore and they didn't even obey your order as a leader except Mina.

"Mina, if I'm out.. Could you please take care of the group after I'm gone?"

"Don't say that, unnie. You won't."

"I said, what 'If'.. Could you?"

"I'll consider it"

Silence .

"Unnie, may I ask something?", Mina murmured quietly while trying to read your face. You hummed, giving her permission to go further.

"Are you and .. Kyungsoo sunbaenim have a serious relationship?", she looks down when the question slips her lips. You shook, getting tired about the whole scandal thing.

"No, he is like a brother to me. Not more than that."

"Ouh.."
" To be honest, I-I adore him ever since I just entered this entertainment. He helps me a lot with my vocals and also supports me. I just hope he would hear me for once. You know, I've tried every other way to tell him how I feel except using the phrase, 'I love you'. I never said it because I want to avoid him rejecting me. I can say that I'm not 100% sure he would feel the same way as I do now especially when you're here and he loves you. Maybe the distance between us now is making things more difficult. I do believe that if by coincidence he would know what I am saying this to him now that, I love him and I always will. I can't help but tell you this."

She confessed. You gaped. What? So, Mina actually loves Kyungsoo? And Kyungsoo loves you while you love Baekhyun? Your head spins even more now when things are going so difficult. You wish you could just jump from a cliff and died peacefully.

The elevator opens, ending the awkward moment between both of you. Mina sighes loud enough for you to hear before stepping outside. You look at her gently while walking behind. You feel pity. You know how hard it is to love someone who is near with you but still so far to reach. It is undoubtedly painful and you already gave up. You wished she wouldn't act like the fool you who don't know how to protect your lover. You wished she would gain more courage than the coward you who hide behind your brother's back. You wished.

"Mina, you know.. You should tell him once. Probably he would reject you, but trust me, it is better when you show him the truth. He might loving me now, but just know that there's no permanent feelings in this world, especially when it is one-sided love. I love Baekhyun. Kyungsoo knows that, you know that. His feelings toward me would fade away as time passed by.", you convince her, caressing her shoulder slightly. A painful smile curved on her mouth. She is younger than you, but you know her endurance is better than yours. She will be alright. But, how about you? Can you be strong? Can you just forget everything and leave? You hope you know the answer.

Omg, I seriously update this story slowly and everytime I updated, the chapter is so sucks and short. I wish I could have write longer but there's no inspiration at all. So many things I regret whenever I posted a chapter bcs i know i can do it better but it is so freaking hard for me to express those words that i'm thinking.
