I floated on something white, soft and fluffy. White. That's all I could see. Just white.

And then a wave of pain would commence. Thats all I could feel. The wave rippling so agonizingly slow over my body.

Was it really pain, or was it death?

Sure feels like death.

"If you can hear me, open your eyes"
A deep dominating voice spoke out from the blinding white light.

Oh shitake mushrooms. I WAS dead.

"God" I said bowing my head away from the piercing light.

I remember my mama telling me as a child that any man who looked into the eyes of God would die. In my case, perhaps it wouldn't make much difference.

"Open your eyes if you can hear me" the voice said once more.

"No God, I cannot, I am a sinner"
I replied truthfully.

Its a bit too late to start being honest now isnt it?

"Yes, yes, you are," the voice agreed with my honest statement. More so, the part where I admitted to my sins.

This was it.

Eternal pit of flames, here I come.

I waited, but nothing came.

Instead, there was a snicker.

"You have been a very bad girl" the voice chuckled,

Wait...whaa

"...Especially last night. You were quite the sinner" the voice suddenly broke out into a-not-so-godly laugh.

My eyes started to adjust properly to the light.

I was in a white walled room. White sheets draped over my body. White curtains framing the big bay window that the bed I was on was facing. White bright light flooding in through it. White everywhere.

So sue me for thinking I was dead.

And slowly my mind began to clock in a few defining factors.

Firstly, I was not dead.

I know right, I'm a freaking genius.

Secondly, the owner of that voice was not God.

But.

Holy hotness...

He could easily pass as a greek god any day .

Thirdly, and most importantly he was half naked.

"Why are you not wearing any clothes?" I demanded.

"I just got out of the shower, duh" he replied sarcastically.

A towel hung lazily from his hips; looking like it was on the verge of dropping. I took in the fact that there were water droplets kissing his golden tanned skin. It was true then that he'd just had a shower. The light bounced off each droplet giving off a shimmery impression. My eyes traced a droplet that ran across the smooth plains of his stomach, down and...

Woah there.

I hadn't noticed that I had been ogling him. I quickly snapped out of it.

"Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but, no,your not in heaven"
He said.

"But I bet you feel like you are" he winked.

"Great, I'm in hell" I mumbled sarcastically.

I massaged my neck muscles and groaned in frustration.
