Rarity ' POV

"Rar, where's Di?" Asked my husband.

He's supposed to know where his daughter is.

Really?

"I don't know, darling, where was the last place you saw her?"

"With Rainbow and the Wonderbolts. They probably took her somewhere."

"Hang on, I'll call her." said Pinkie.

After a few minuets on the phone, Pinkie came back.

"Dashie said she wasn't with them. Maybe she went into the Everfree Forest."

My daughter is missing.

"SPIKE DRAGON I SWEAR IF YOU CAN'T FIND OUR DAUGHTER, YOU'LL BE SLEEPING ON THE COUCH TONIGHT!" I yelled.

He looked upset, like he would cry.

"I'm sorry, I'm just worried."

"Hey, it's all good. No one got hurt. All I need is for someone to help me go find her." He said.

"I'll go." said Flash Sentry.

"Uh, I wanna help." I said.

"Are you sure, Rarity? Your mane will most likely get dirty."

"It's worth it to find Diamond," I swallowed my pride and walked with them to the forest.

"DI! IT'S MOMMY! WHERE ARE YOU SWEETIE!" I yelled loudly.

"DIAMOND!"

"DI, PLEASE COME OUT."

No answer.

This is terrifying.

My daughter who is leaving soon is missing. She's already leaving me, why can't she just stay put for once!

"DIAMOND DRAGON YOU HAD BETTER SHOW YOURSELF THIS INSTANT!" That was Spike. I had never seen him talk to her like this before, even if she can't hear him. Now I know he's worried.

"Guys, we've looked everywhere. It's like she disappeared. Is she hiding from someone?" Flash said.

"Better yet," I said, wishing this thought never entered my head, "is someone hiding her from us?"

With Diamond and Somber

Somber's POV

"Somber, huh? Your name sounds really familiar. Did we go to school together at some point?" asked the white mare.

I don't know where I am, but I'm glad I'm here. My dad won't find me here.

My dad is King Sombra. He expects me to be evil and try to take over Equestria, like him. But, I don't want to do that.

I don't know what I want to do, but I don't want to be evil.

"No. I was homeschooled my whole life. I'm not from here, so I don't know where I am."

"Oh, you're in Ponyville. Welcome. I'm Princess Diamond. My mom is Princess Rarity, and my dad is Prince Spike. Where you headed, stranger?"

"I, uh, don't know yet." I said, kicking a rock.

"Why?"

"I would stay here, but many ponies here wouldn't like me."

"Why?"

"It's.... complicated."

More like, my dad kinda tried to overthrow the princesses and rule this entire country and turn everyone into slaves.

"Oh. Well, I heard you. You better get to moving, or you're gonna get caught. I can tell you don't want that to happen."

She turned around, heading back to her castle, I guess. She did say she was a princess.

"Hey, Princess Diamond?"

"Yes?"

"Maybe you could help me. If we could disguise me, I could stay with you for a while. Like a day or two. Just until I have enough energy to walk that much."

Hopefully, she'll agree and not think I'm crazy.

"Uh, okay. My Aunt Pinkie has a lot of disguises, so I'll grab one and bring it to you to wear."

"Yeah, thanks."

"No problem." She commented, turning and sashaying away.

Maybe I do have hope in the world. If this princess can have hope in me.

Then I think I can have hope in these ponies.
