Chapter 3

It turns out that when Macaulay comforted me Carlisle had to go home. Macaulay had brought me to my place and placed me in bed. I was half asleep, I don't know why I was so tired? Maybe because all the crying and the constant "run". He kissed my cheek and said he would se me tomorrow. Then he left. He's such a good friend. Me grandma came in and sat down.

"Are you o-ok darling?" She had that sweet old voice.

"Ya, I guess. It's just that bully at school... I get that he bullies but, telling people to go cut themselves and overdose so you can die is just-" I stopped and lightly started to cry.

"Is just what honey?"

"To much, over the top, WAY past the line. But I guess that's what bullies do right? Make people's lives miserable." I hugged my grandma for the last word. I love her so much, she's always there for me... I couldn't imagine life without her.

When I went down stairs to start making supper... I saw that grandma had already made it. Her special supper that taste like heaven! When I was little I asked If one day she would show me how to do it. She never did answer me though.

"Grandma! You made supper?"

"Only the best honey, and only for the best! You were heart broken up there and you needed a break anyways."

"But how did you get the VERY expensive ingredients?"

"It's my secret, now sit and eat." She said while pointing to my seat.

I sat down and started to make my plate. I saw that she wasn't sitting, she was hold her chest.

"Are you ok grandma? You don't look well." I was concerned.

"I'm fine honey, I'm coming."

Run, run, RUN! UH! There it is again! What does this mean?

As I finished supper I called Macaulay to finish our science project.

"Hey! You still up for our project?"

"Uh, sure! But Carlisle is here so... He'll just hang with us... That cool?"

"Yep! Ok with me!" I was actually very excited.

"See you in a couple! Bye."

"Bye" and we hung up the phone.

His house was just a few blocks down so I walked. When I got there that run voice started up again but I just ignored it. I walked in because he is like my brother to me. So I don't need to knock!

"Hey!" Macaulay said cheerfully.

"Hey! Ready to start?"

"Yep!" "Hey Carlisle there's some chips in the higher cupboard if you want!" He yelled.

So we set up on the ground and started with the base of the model. Carlisle walked in with 3 different kind of chips, Doritos, Smartfood and plain chips.

"Doritos for me!" I said grabbing them, but it seemed like Carlisle hade a tight grip on them to. I looked up at him with one of those joking "I'm gonna beat you up if you don't give me the Doritos" kind of eye.

"This bag ain't big enough for the both of use!" I said with a western voice.

"Let's see about that..." And he grabbed my sides and picked me up and threw me on the couch. Macaulay is just sitting there laughing at us! He's not helping me!

"Help me macaulay!" But he just was cramped up. So I guessed I had to do it myself. I tickled his side and did a light pressure point on his neck like I always do to protect myself.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" "Ok ok ok, you can have em'!" He said with a light sign of pain. I was proud!

"Nah you can have them to. Besides I like smart food also!" So we ate chips and did the project. Carlisle helped us because he said he didn't have a partner.

"Maybe we can ask mrs. Alany if we can be together!" I had the bright idea so we can all hang out.

"Ya!" They both said at the same time.

"On monday... And on Sunday you guys wanna do anything? It's my birthday and I want to take a trip somewhere... Get away from all this stress." I said. They agreed and I said we should meet at the cemetery at 9 so I can say hi to my parents on my birthday before we leave.

The next day I went to work like usual. I was exited because tomorrow is my birthday! I wasn't going expect any thing big. I worked all day and took on a couple extra hours because I wasn't going to work tomorrow. I brought something from the shop for tomorrow since I won't be here to take care of grandma. And for supper we ate tuna sandwiches! I put her to bed afterwards and sat down and watched tv.
