My One and Only (Diall/Zemi)

Chapter 2 - New School Life Began

Demi's POV

When I got to my first period class the next day, which was History, I saw Niall and his other friends sat at the back row near the window. I felt a rush of excitement to know that Niall is in my class.

“Hi,” I said stood at the door way, while knocked on the door, tried to get the teacher’s attention.

When he heard my voice, he turned around towards me “Would you like to introduce yourself to the class?” he asked, gave me a wide smile.

“Yep” I nodded “hi, everyone, my name is Demi Lovato. I come from Dallas, Texas and I am looking forward to be part of this class! ”

“Make her feel welcome, show her around the school since she’s new.” Said the teacher,  looked at the class. Then he turned back and faced me “Demi, you can take a sit anywhere you like that is available.”

 I took a glance at the classroom, looking for an empty seat. I sat down next to a girl who sat alone by herself.

“Hi” I sat down next to her, and gave her a little friendly wave.

“Hello! Welcome! Demi, my name is Tricia” she greeted

“Okay, class will now begin, today we will be learning about World War 2” said the teacher enthusiastically.

**LUNCH BREAK**

 “Hey,  Demi, ready for lunch?” Offered Tricia

“Yes, I’m so hungry!” I exclaimed cheerfully

Tricia and I went to the canteen and we waited in the long lunch line. After we waited in line felt like hours, we both bought some salad, sandwich and drinks. Then we walked around searching for an empty table to have lunch, but there were way too many people, all the tables were taken.

“Demi, you want to join us?” called a voice from behind.

I turned my head around, and it was Niall. He is sitting with his friends at a round table, and there are two empty sits.

“sure.” I said happily.

Tricia and I sat down with them.

Niall’s POV

Zayn, Louis, Liam, Harry and I went to the canteen early as usual. We bought our lunches, and sat down at a table and started eating.

“The new girl looks hot.” Said Harry smirked.

“You meant Demi Lovato?” Zayn asked quizzically.

“Yeah, her.” Answered Harry with a devilish smile.

“She’s your new target, isn’t she?” Asked Louis in a joking tone.

I don’t know why, but I felt uncomfortable listened to this conversation.

 I know that Harry can be a player, and a little bit flirty but he can treat a girl right if he’s in love with her.

Suddenly, I saw Demi walked passed our table with her friend, it seems like they are trying to find an empty table, but it’s filled with people everywhere.

“Demi, do you want to join us?” I asked her with a sincere smile, hopefully she will.

She turned around, looked at me and smiled “Sure.” I felt relieved.

“Hi, Niall.” She sat down with a little smirk on her face. 

WAHH, WHAT?! SHE REMEMBERS MY NAME? OH CALM DOWN, NIALL, IT’S JUST A NAME.

“Hi, Demi, they are my friends: Liam, Louis, Zayn and Harry, you may already know them or seem them from the concert yesterday.

“Yep,” Demi nodded “you guys have such amazing voices and singing skills, I enjoyed the concert, it was fantastic! Added Demi with excitement.

OMG.  OMG. OMG. DID SHE JUST COMPLIMENT ME !?!

I have heard many compliments in my life, but this one is just special.

 WAIT. WHY AM I FEELING THIS WAY…? I AM FEELING A BIT STRANGE TODAY.

We had our lunches, and had great talk, we all got to know Demi better.
