Chapter 9 - At the Beach House

Demi’s P.O.V

I spent the whole day shopping, gathering around things for the beach house until the evening. I took a warm shower then went in bed. But I couldn’t sleep, in my head was full of Niall, I’m thinking about what he was actually going to tell me at the movie. I am thinking whether he actually likes me or not in “that way”. Then I start to think about all the fun that I’ll have at the beach house. Finally, I fall asleep at 3 am in the morning.

The next morning, after 2 hour long drive, Niall, Zayn, Harry, Liam, Louis and I finally arrived at the place. Hot air flew passed after we got off the van, we went straight to the beach house that Niall have booked.

As we about to get into the house. We heard a loud shout from behind “Niall!!” We turned around and saw a girl with red haired running towards us and gave Niall a bone crushing hug.

“WOW, HEY, Elaine!” exclaimed Niall while got out of her hug.

Hey, guys, so, this is Elaine, my family friend and childhood friend. And Elaine, this is Zayn, Harry, Louis, Liam and Demi.” He introduced

I greeted and I can't help to check her out, she is so pretty.

Later, we all went inside, gathered around talking. But all the topics seem to be surrounding Niall and Elaine, I felt a bit uncomfortable and excluded. So I decided to have a walk at the beach.

The sound of waves and wind makes me felt so much better, I looked up at the sky, the big white clouds looks fluffy just like marshmallows. I’m hungry, I haven’t eat anything since morning. As I was deciding what to eat for lunch, something hard smacked on the back of my head.

“Ouch, that hurts.” I said as I let out a small growl from my lips and turned around. I saw a guy running towards my direction.

“OH, I’m so sorry, I spiked the volleyball and it hit you.” He stopped in front on me and said “are you alright?” he asked

“NO, it hurts you know.” I said, frowned.

“I’m sorry, forgive me, I’ll buy your lunch.” He said, lowed his head.

“Okay, you came just in time, I am hungry.” My eyes brightened as he said lunch.

We got to a restaurant which was just around a hundred metres away. We sat down and ordered our foods.

Five minutes later, the waiter returned with plates of food, I immediately start eating, sent food into my mouth. I peeked the guy on the corner of my eyes and saw him eating his food slowly and elegantly. Compared to me, I was eating like a mad man. So, I gradually slowed down my speed.

“I’m Joe, and sorry about today.” He apologised once again after we are done eating.

“No, it’s okay! I forgive you, thanks for the lunch.” I said and gave him an amused smile.

We walked out of the restaurant, said goodbye and start to walk towards different direction.

“Oh, yeah, and I’m Demi.” I shouted from behind.

I had fun on the next two days, there are different activities that are happening each day. Except, I felt uncomfortable that Niall and Elaine are always together, and the way she looked at me, like she is looking at an enemy and opponent. I don’t like it, I felt unsafe. I hardly spent any time with Niall. Like seriously, Niall and Elaine always stick together, just like glue.

Sorry, if this chapter sucks, because I just need to introduce things, and also because I stayed up late, I updated two chapter at once tonight. it's currently 12.10. at night, So forgive me, if there's any errors, I'll come back tmr to change them.
