It was Monday, November 21st and I had nothing to do. I walked out the room and placed my blanket in the dryer to warm it up. Once it was done I grabbed it and made my way to the theater room where I clicked on 'Netflix' and started watching 'Switched at Birth' because it is one of the best shows in the world.
"I knew you would be in here" a recognizable husky morning voice said. That was always my number one weakness around him.
"How so?" I smirked and he chuckled taking another sip of his coffee before sitting next to me.
"Whenever you have nothing to do you always watch Netflix, I also heard the dryer beep which is always what happens before you curl up for a day of laziness" he said gesturing to my warm blanket.
"Well then I guess your right" I said taking the coffee cup from his hands and taking a sip. I could feel him watching me and I stopped and looked at him.
"What?" I asked him and he shook his head.
"Nothing just admiring you" he said and I chuckled.
"Well you should be admiring your girlfriend" I said and he turned away avoiding my comment. It became a bit awkward so I decided to speak up.
"So how about 'In an Out'" we both said and the exact same time and we laughed slightly.
"But won't people get suspicious" he said and I shrugged.
"Then we invite Rowan, Corey, and Sabrina" I said and he nodded. I texted in our old group chat to meet us at 'In an Out' and they all replied saying they would come.
"Remember before we left how we had to do filming almost all day long since you, me, and Rowan wouldn't be around" he said and I busted out laughing.
"We were there all night and all day and I remember filming at like 3 in the morning and we were in the classroom set and Sabrina passed out on the desk asleep and Micheal kept rolling because it fit her character perfectly" I said and he laughed also.
"I also remember having to carry you around because you claimed you were to tired to walk and you spilled coffee down my shirt when I was carrying you to Rowan's bedroom set" he said and I nodded chuckling remembering that day.
"We should get ready for lunch shouldn't we" he said and I smiled deviously.
"Carry me, I'm to tirrrrrreeeeddd" I said and he chuckled.
"Only if you don't spill that coffee on me again"he said pointing to his mug I stole.
"I promise" I smiled and he scooped me up in his arms as if I was a feather.
"You get lighter each time I hold you" he said and I shrugged watching him carry me to my room. We walked in my room and he set me down before looking towards my desk.
"Hey do you have a pen I could borrow!" His eyes lightened up and I giggled at the obvious thought of how he probably needed one and ransacked the house not able to find one.
"Yeah probably somewhere in there" I said and he got up opening one of the draws. I didn't hear any movement.
"Hey is everything okay" I asked turning around and looking up before immediately stopping. He held the frame he gave me in his hands lightly running his thumb across the quote across it.
"You kept it" he said and I nodded.
"Why wouldn't I?" I asked and he shrugged.
"We broke up" he said and I shook my head.
"We took a break and when we both ended up in a relationship at the end well that was when we officially broke up. I considered us to be in a relationship for a year before we actually broke up" I said shrugging and turning back to my closet. I saw him nod out of the corner of my eye before setting it down and closing the drawer.
"I will get you when it's time to go" he mumbled before walking out the door and I slowly nodded to myself. My phone rang and I saw my Dads name come across the screen.
"Daddy?" I answered.
"Hey sweet pea, what's wrong?" He immediately asked at me calling him Daddy.
"You were wrong Daddy, it was just a coincidence for you but it will always be you and Mommy's story because that lady bug made a mistake landing on me" I ranted and he chuckled.
"Honey you never know" he said and I shook my head before replying.
"He loves someone else Daddy, he will never love me again" I mumbled lightly.
"Who said he ever stopped loving you" he said trying to lift my spirits but it wasn't happening.
"Daddy he didn't need to say anything he just needed to show me how happy he was with his girlfriend" I said and I heard him sigh on the other side.
"Keep it together princess but I gotta go, find a new battle to win. I love you, also don't hurt Gabe to bad he's like my only son" he said before hanging up.
I hate ladybugs.
