I soon landed and Ruthie immediately ran to me. I smiled and engulfed her in a much needed hug. It was the longest I have ever been away from her.

"I'm so happy your here!" She exclaimed and I laughed.

"Me to, now let's go home, I'm tired" I said and she nodded. We drove quickly in her new car that was very cute. We made it in front of the Lowe's and once I got out Sheryl immediately hugged me.

"I'm so glad your here! Come lets go make some dinner" she said dragging me inside. I laughed lightly and let her take me to the kitchen. She pulled out the ingredients and handed me the carrots to cut in tiny pieces. I accidentally dropped the knife. I watched it slowly descending until it reached the ground.

"Ooooooooh!" Sheryl squealed and I gave her an odd look.

"Haven't you ever heard about what happens when you drop a knife?" She questioned and I shook my head.

"When you drop a knife it means a man will visit. Maybe from your past or maybe someone completely new" she said and I chuckled lightly.

"Well that's very nice but I have a boyfriend" I said and she didn't look to convinced.

"How long have you and this guy been together?" She asked saying guy as if it was a raw taste in her mouth.

"8 months" I said and she raised her eyebrows nodding.

"Okay yeah, have you said I love you yet?" She asked and I lightly shook my head.

"You and that Peyton kid dated for about 4 months and you had already said I love you" she said and I sighed.

"It was a lot easier back then" I said and she stopped me from talking further.

"Stop lying to me and yourself. There is nothing easier about your relationship with Peyton and whoever this new guy is. You love Peyton but your not sure if you ever stopped loving him so that's why you haven't said it to this new guy" she said.

"His name is Gabe" I said and she nodded.

"Well honey, these unresolved feelings won't be resolved until you resolve them and this Gabe guy isn't helping" she said and I shook my head.

"I am in a happy relationship with Gabe, you tell me who does have a resolved past relationship" I said and she looked at me before brushing it off. The sad thing is she read me like I was an open book. I still loved Peyton and that's why I haven't even said it to Gabe.

We soon ate dinner then I was brought to the room I would be staying in. I showered and then put on some shorts with a red hoodie. Peyton's red hoodie to be exact. The one he wore the night I met him.

I added some things to my room to make it more homely. I put my computer on my desk and my Vera blanket on the end of my bed and I left two pictures on my desk. One of my family and the other of me, Rowan, Corey, and Sabrina. Then on the bedside table I put the gift Peyton got me that Christmas. Slowly I ran my thumb over the quote that was still perfectly on there. 'Not all our love could be captured in one moment' and it was completely true. I turned the switch on and set it on the table looking at his sweet face before falling asleep.
