Chapter 5: Misunderstanding

I watched as Tadashi walked away with a few other girls following him. What's wrong with him?

"Where is he going?" Moka asked. "Maybe for a walk." I laughed nervously.

"Do y'all want to take one last swim before we go back home. We got an hour left." Zero said while grabbing Moka's hand.

Shana jumped up happy. "Yes! Let's go!!" She grabbed Tito's arm and pulled him up.

"Y'all go ahead. I'll stay here. I think I'm done swimming." I gave them a fake smiled. I didn't want them to worry.

Later on....

We all got back on the bus and did a head count before leaving. I looked over to Tadashi. He put in his earphones then closed his eyes. Also everyone was falling asleep.

"Tadashi?" I softly whispered. He didn't answered only turned up his music. This boy here! I took out one of his earphones. "Tadashi!" I whispered a little louder. He turned at me with a pissed off look. He never looked at me like that.

"What do you want?!" He asked. I wanted to ask him what's wrong? And why he's acting like that? But I couldn't get it out. The why his eyes looked at me. With anger and sadness. Why....? "Do you have something to tell me or not?" He said a little softer but kept his anger.

After a few minutes of silence and me not getting my words out he took back his earphone. "If you have nothing to say. Just leave me alone." He put back in his earphone and closed his eyes again.

Why is he acting like that to me? I felt like crying. I didn't want Tadashi to hate me. I love him to much. I hugged myself as tears threatened to come out and closed my eyes soon I was drifted off to sleep.

Tadashi's POV

Naomi and Tito was taking a little to long. "I'll go see where they are." I stood up. "Tell them to hurry up. I'm dying. I need my soda!" Moka shouted. I jogged over to the path they took.

Naomi where are you. I sniffed the air and caught her sent. I followed it. When I got there I stopped dead in my tracks. I saw Naomi and that boy...Tito or whatever kissing.

I was a few feet away from them to where they can't see me but I can see them. My ears was very sharp so I could ear every word they said.

"Please be with me." He said then kissed her again. Why is she letting him kiss her. She should know she's mine and mine alone. He kissed her again. I couldn't stand it. I headed back to the group but I took an longer way. I needed to think.

When I got back to the group Naomi was back and that boy. I sat down a little away from her. I got my soda and drunk it all down.

"Where did you go Tadashi?" Naomi asked. I didn't want to tell her saw what happened but at the same time I wanted her to explain. I really need to think about this. I didn't answer only got up through my can away and started walking along the shore.

A few girls came over and started walking along with me. I didn't care now. "You are so cute!" A girl said. "Are you single?" Another asked. I felt someone staring at me. "Tadashi....?" I knew it was Naomi but I just kept on walking.

Later on....

It was time to go. I sat in my seat and put on my earphones. I closed my eyes so I couldn't see her looking at me with her eyes. But I could feel them on me. "Tadashi?" She whispered softly. I could hear her but I turn up my music.

Then she took out my earphone. "Tadashi." I looked at her pissed. Pissed that I left her go with that guy. Pissed that I that I didn't know there was something between them. Pissed that... I didn't make her mine.

She looked a little shocked. Her eyes held sadness and confusion. "What do you want?" I asked. She looked like she wanted to say something but couldn't get it out.

I wanted her to explain herself. I wanted her to tell me if she has feelings for that guy. "Do you have something to tell me or not?" I asked. I wanted her to tell me what happened. I don't want any secrets to start happening or build up. I want us to be honest with each other.

She stayed quiet. I sigh. I took my earphone out her hand. "If you have nothing to say, just leave me alone." I put my earphone back in them closed my eyes. I was really tired from walking. I soon fell asleep.

Naomi POV

At home.

We all went home soon it was just me and Tadashi. Tadashi was quite the whole way home. What made him so upset? "If your hungry I can make-"

"I'm not hungry." He said then went into the bedroom. Why is he like that? I don't like the way he's treating me. Its making me upset.

I went upstairs and opened the door. He was just about to come out.

Tadashi POV

I felt bad for saying that to her. I need to give her a chance to explain herself. Just as I was about to open the door she walked in. I was shocked to see her with tears in her eyes. I hate to see her cry but I hate it the most when it was me who caused it.

"FINE IF YOU HATE ME SO MUCH TO IGNORE ME AND NOT TALK TO ME THEN I'LL LEAVE!!" She yelled.

Just as she turned to leave I grabbed her arm. "Let go of me! Don't you hate me!? let go!"

Naomi POV

I slapped him but he held his grip. He pulled me into his chest and hugged me tightly. "I'm sorry if I made you cry." He said softly. I stoked fighting and just stood there. "Don't ever think that I hate you."

"Then why was you acting to cold to me? I didn't like it. It made me upset." I heard him sigh then pulled away from me. He leaned on the opposite walk from me then slid down. "I saw when Tito and you kissed."

So that's why he's been acting this why. "He kissed me but I promised there's nothing going between us." I stood in front of him. "I was afraid....that he was going to take you away from me."

Tadashi was that worried about me. That makes me happy. "Why didn't you push him away?"

"I was in shocked. But when I thought of you I snapped out of it. I love you Tadashi and only you." He grabbed my wrist and pulled me down into his arms.

"I love you too, Naomi. Will you be my girlfriend?" He hugged me tighter. I was happy. Cause now we're an official couple. "Yes." He pulled away and kissed me.

I saw as his ears and tail came out. His tail started wagging. I giggled. His face flushed. "I'm just happy. That's all."

I kissed him again then smiled. "I'm happy that your happy."

I am now yours forever........
