"Thanks for watching, don't forget to give this video a thumbs up if you liked it, see ya next Friday!" I said in a sing-song voice. Then, I closed out the video with a two-finger salute to the camera and a click of my tongue—my signature sign off.  A bit like Jim Chapman's sign off, only his has a wink, I thought to myself as I clicked off the camera. As soon as the camera stopped rolling, my phone lit up with a call. I glanced at it as I put the camera and tripod away. It was Alfie.

" Hey Alf, what's up?" I said. He replied "Are you coming soon? Jim and Tan are already here."

"Yep, be there in a bit, I just finished filming a video." I said, glancing at the time. Shit. Already 6:20. I was supposed to have been over at 6. I heard Zoe chirp in the background, "And I'll see you again next week, byeeeeeeeee!"

"I guess Zoe's just finished a video as well," I laughed. "Well, I'll see you in a bit, Alfie! Bye." I hung up and raced to my desk. I grabbed my laptop and my jacket and headed out the door. Zoe and Alfie invited me and a couple of our other youtuber friends over to film some collabs and spend the night.  I couldn't wait! The sleepovers Zoe hosted were always fun, with late night movies, popcorn, and lots of laughs. Zoe lived about two blocks over with Alfie. I still couldn't believe I hadn't realized I lived so near them for so long. I chuckled. I remembered finding the Zoella blog and absolutely loving it; I contacted Zoe on Twitter and we quickly became friends. She told me she also loved my blog and my YouTube channel. We found out we lived so close and since then, there hasn't been a week when one of us hasn't been round to the other's house. My thoughts started wandering as I walked down the sidewalk, the cool autumn breeze blowing through my hair, fallen leaves crunching underneath my shoes. I couldn't wait to see him. I smiled, thinking of his tousled hair, and his friendly, blue eyes. I rounded the corner and knocked on the front door of the Zalfie household. On my last knock, the door slid open a little, revealing it to be open. I pushed the door open and heard a thud and an "ouch!" I gasped to the guy I hit, "Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't realize you were there!" Then I glanced up to his face, partially covered by his hand.

"I was gonna be a gentleman and open the door for you but it seems you've got it covered," he winced. Then he took his hand away and grinned boyishly down at me, showing he was okay. My knees went weak.

"Hi, Caspar," I said breathlessly.
