Your POV
My eyes fluttered open as sunlight streamed through the window shade. I slid out of bed and slumped over to the mirror. I brushed my hair and looked at my clothes. My leggings and tshirt were a bit rumpled. My socks had fallen off during my tossing and turning slumber. I shrugged my shoulders at my reflection. I walked downstairs and wandered into the kitchen. Nobody was there. I glanced at the clock. 7:00 in the morning. No one else was awake yet. I chuckled to myself as I grabbed a bowl and a box of raspberries from the fridge. I made myself yoghurt with fruit and honey and sat myself at the table, thinking about the night before. The fluttering in my stomach when Joe touched me. Was I starting to get feelings for Joe?"That's impossible." I muttered to myself
"What's impossible?" said a voice behind me. I jumped and turned around. It was Joe. His hair was tousled and he was rubbing his eyes. He must have just gotten up. I suddenly had the strangest desire to run my hands through his hair.
"What's impossible?" he repeated. His morning voice was low and throaty. A bit sexy, I thought. I shook my head. Stop it! He's your best friends brother! He's also one of your best mates! I cleared my throat.
"Er, nothing, come have breakfast with me," I mumbled.
"Well, alright," he said, grabbing a box of cereal from the pantry. He pulled up a seat next to me and started crunching away. We ended up sitting there, chatting and editing videos for the next hour and a half. We were still there at the table as everyone else gradually wandered in and had breakfast.
"Caspar and I want to go see that new movie today" Alfie announced.
"Okay, well Joe, Jim, Tanya and I were planning on going shopping today," replied Zoe. Everyone looked at me. I glanced back and forth between Caspar and Joe's hopeful eyes. I didn't want to see the movie as I heard it wasn't very good ; but I did want to spend time with Caspar. However, I really had been dying to go shopping with Zoe for a while now, and spending time with Joe, was a bonus. I really wanted to see how I really felt about Joe.
"Er, I'll go shopping," I said hesitantly. Joe smiled at me. Zoe said "Right, well that's settled then."
"I'll have to run back to my place to change, it's quite warm outside today and I want to wear shorts." I said to Zoe.
"Alright well, go now and when we've finished breakfast I'll drive round to yours and pick you up." Zoe replied.
"Sounds good to me," I smiled at her. I grabbed my laptop and phone and hurried back to my house. I changed into jean shorts and a black and white striped tshirt. I slipped on my white hightop converse just as Zoe's car pulled up in front of my house. I ran out and climbed in the back, next to Joe. Tanya was in the passengers seat next to Zoe, who was driving. Jim and Joe were seated in the back with me. The space was a bit tight and Joe's knee was leaning on mine. I felt the fluttering feeling in my stomach again. Joe was vlogging and I smiled into the camera, leaning close to his head to get in the shot.
"We're off to shop" announced Joe in a funny voice. "Erm, you all know (y/n) and Jim." he said, panning the camera back and forth between our faces.
"You should really get a vlogging channel" Joe scolded me mockingly. He said to the camera, "Guys, comment down below if you think (y/n) should start vlogging." Then he clicked the camera off and looked sideways at me. I started laughing. Why did I never notice how much Joe could make me laugh?
