I got up when he finally wrenched the bed out of the couch, and stifling my laughter, I went to get pillows and blankets for Joe. I threw them on the makeshift bed and slid into the warm pile of blankets next to Joe. I grabbed the Netflix remote and announced, "We're watching The Theory of Everything because Eddie Redmayne is amazing okay"

Joe glanced at my sideways and rolled his eyes, grinning. He knew I was obsessed with this movie and anything with Eddie Redmayne in it. I punched his arm lightly. We settled down to watch the movie.

Halfway through, when Jane told Stephen she didn't love him anymore, tears slipped down my face. In a few seconds, I was full out bawling. Joe's eyes snapped to mine quickly and he took my face gently in his hands.

"Hey, listen beautiful, he's not worth your precious time and tears. He's a jerk for going of with some slut. You'll find a guy who loves you way more than Caspar loves himself." he said, resting his forehead on mine.

"And that's saying something," I whispered, smiling a little. I was very aware of how close our faces were, how close our lips were. He chuckled and wiped the tears from my eyes with his thumb. I looked into his eyes, lights from the screen flashing across them but never changing the warmth coming from those blue irises. He pulled away and asked softly, "Do you want to stop watching?"

I shook my head and said, "No, I want to see the end. It's a good ending." Joe smiled at me before turning back to the screen. Soon, his eyelids began to flicker and his head fell slightly. He had seen this a million times with me. I smiled as his head finally fell onto my shoulder. His soft hair tickled my cheek. The credits rolled up the screen and I clicked the tv off. I tried to get up to go to my bed but Joe's hand wrapped around my wrist and he mumbled a single word softly and I slid back under the covers into his arms. He said:
"Stay."
