Then:
Falling
My laughter has turned to links
My heart has become the chain
Your eyes are the tornado that stole my breath away
I was branded by you touch
I was waken in some ways
I fall asleep at night still thinking of your gaze.
Now:
Love and Loss
Falling in love isn’t always fast.
It’s those slower journeys that make it last.
I’m a wary girl, thanks to my past.
But our slow journey made my love last
Sweet words, had no place between us
It was the cruel jokes that tied us together
Our actions have always been the foil to our words
That’s why in the end it was the actions that hurt
I can see in them a new love had begun
Between the two I’d lost and she’d won
I was nothing compare side by side
It took one week of summer for your feelings to die
