The Test for the Advisor

Today Annika was going to show off her skill set in front of Supreme Leader Snoke, and some important officers from The First Order. They really went all out with the test. Not as much as her grandfather would have but still a nice try. She honestly don't know when she'd be in the situation, where she would have to scale a wall, leap over a sinking sand pit, break through an entire fleet of stormtroopers, maneuver her way through swinging axes that were on fire. Which was a nice touch. She would finish by making my way to Kylo Ren and securing his safety. And wouldn't the stormtroopers be on her side anyway?

She was ready, her father, had send her a gift from her grandfather saying he wanted her to have it when the time was right, an outfit similar to the one Kylo Ren wore. But  Annika didn't show him it wasn't any of his business anyway. Her job was to protect him, not be his friend. Even though most of her time was devoted to training Kylo Ren, Annika always made time for myself.

"Are you ready for this?" he asked her through his mask. She nodded. "I've been preparing my whole life."  She bowed to Supreme Leader as he entered the room. "Begin whend ready," he told her. Annika closed her eyes and let sadness turn to anger and anger turn to darkness and flow into every inch of her body.

Annika, had a menacing look on her face as she ran through the course, She scaled the wall, leaped across the sand pit and drawing two lightsabers, ran directly into the fleet of stormtroopers. They wore heavy armor for protection. "Who gave her the lightsabers?" one of the officers asked. No one knew. On the opposite end of the course, Kylo Ren was dueling with one of his officer, this was a test for him as well. The stormtroopers looked as they were overpowering Annika. Another officer went up to Kylo fighting against him as well. 2 against 1. "Call for help" Smoke instructed Kylo Ren.

"I don't need it he replied through gritted teeth. "Do it" Snoke ordered. "Help," he said completely monotone. Smoke looked angry, "We will never see her full potential unless she senses you're in danger"  He sent 8 more officers to fight him. "Help! Help Annika" Kylo yelled more convincingly. He could handle 8 of his officers, but not for long.  Every time Kylo beat one of his officers a new one came to replace him, he grew tired. Annika could sense it.

"Enough" Annika yelled. The mob of stormtroopers flew off her and she ran through the rest of the ranks, knocking them out instantly. She was glaring so fiercely that her eyes turned red. She didn't event hesitate as she ran through the axes dogging each one closely, the tail end of her robe caught fire, but she rolled past the last axe effectively putting it out. She ran up the platform to join Kylo, knocking aside the officer she made her way to him, and pressing her back against him began fighting them off.

The remaining officers stood in awe, she was able to duel wield the lightsabers perfectly knocking out all the officers within seconds. Kylo turned his head to face her, "Good Work" he said approvingly. She immediately knocked him aside, he fell hard on the ground, "What the hell?" he asked turning to her. She was in a lunge stance slowly being forced back by an officer, Kylo hadn't seen coming, who would have effectively chopped him in half.

"Kylo will die, his blood will be on your hands," the stormtrooper told her. Her gaze intensified so greatly her eyes seemed to burn. The stormtrooper recoiled slightly. She took advantage of his hesitation sending him flying back. Her muscles were tense. But the that wan't the end of it. Something was very wrong. She immediately turned to Kylo Ren, he was being held up by a stormtrooper his lightsaber dangerously close to his neck. The flame in her eyes died out and turned to the color of blood. She sent the stormtrooper spiraling backwards, her hand holding him up. Choking him. She was force sensitive. "Go" she ordered Kylo. He stepped off the platform.

 When he was shoved to the ground again. "Are you serious?" He asked drawing his lightsaber ready to kill. He felt something hit him his back. He shifted to his side knocking off whatever lay on top of him. A stormtrooper laid dead on the platform a lightsaber sticking through his body. Annika's. He lifted himself up and found her body next to his. She had a deep gash across her chest.

"Did you plan for this to happen?" Kylo Ren asked Supreme Leader, as Annika was carried off to the infirmary. "No, the last Stormtrooper went rogue, he was never instructed to attack. HR-7586 was supposed to be the last one to fight you" He said pointing to the stormtrooper who had used his own lightsaber against me. "We had you run it through with us before hand Kylo, you knew exactly what was going to happen" he stated. That was true. He looked at Kylo , "She passed, she's your advisor now" And with that he left.  He went to the dead stormtrooper and pulled off the mask, it was a face her had never seen before, which wasn't really surprising. Kylo Ren tossed the mask to Captain Plasma, "Find out who he is" he instructed exiting the room. "Where are you going? she asked. "To the infirmary, to see my advisor" He replied
