Chapter 12

Cody's pov

I laid in my room thinking about Taylor. God,she was stunning. The blonde Ombré hair, the petite size,the passion for photography,the love for Pierce The Veil. She was perfect. Thing is, I know she wants me for a friend. Which sucks because I want us to be more than friends.

I remember meeting her in middle school. She wasn't the shy, introverted girl. She was very outgoing. Yet,people would bully her and make fun of her. She didn't deserve that.

But enough with the sappy stuff. I hope she feels the same way as I do. Hopefully, I'll tell her how I feel. I just can't get her out of my mind for now. Hopefully that changes.

It was 7 and I promised I would text her. Maybe now's my chance to hold a conversation with her. Just me and her. No one else.

Taylor's pov

"Oh my god, that's crazy." I laughed as I FaceTimed Miranda. She was my internet friend from tumblr. We've been close since.

"I know right?" She laughed back as she stuffed pizza in her face. My phone then buzzed. I looked at it too see who was texting me.

Cody🐺

Hey

I blushed reading the text. I don't know why,but I've been having some feeling for him. After all,he's been one of the sweetest guys to ever respect me.

"Watcha blushing about?" Miranda asked with a smile that grew on her face. I tried bluffing so that she wouldn't know. "Nothing." She knew damn well I was lying. "Liar, some cute boy texted you, huh?" I lied. " Pshh,no. Why would you think that?" Miranda had a face of seriousness. " Sweetheart, I can tell by the way your cheeks are. You aren't that slick." Well, now she knew about Cody. I sighed.

"My guy friend texted me and I think I have feelings for him." Her eyes popped. She then put on a sneaky smile.

" Ooohhhh. Whats his name???" I laughed at the way she sounded. " His name is Cody." She nodded. " I must meet this Cody. He needs to have my approval." I rolled my eyes at het. " Shut the fuck up, Miranda. "

I texted Cody back heyy. Miranda said "Yooo, I have good news." My head went up. "What is it?" I asked. She said "You see how my mom married her boyfriend? " I nodded and said yeah. She continued "Well he got a promotion at his work. And it's in San Diego."

I covered my face out of excitement. " Miranda, shut the fuck up. " She began squealing. " I'm MOVING TO SAN DIEGO!!!!" I then asked "What school are you going too?" She said "Mission bay high school!!!" I began squealing "HOLY SHIT I GO THERE OMF YOUR'E GOING TO MY SCHOOL!!!!!!" She said " YES I GET TO SEE YOU BBY!!!!!!"

Miranda and I began squealing and jumping with excitement. My best internet friend was moving to my area and I finally got to meet her.

I looked back at my phone and saw that Cody texted me back saying what's up? I texted him saying that I was on FaceTime with my friend.

I looked back at Miranda and I asked "When are you arriving?" She said "3 weeks,I believe." I said "Nice." Then Miranda said "Dude,my room is so fucking messy,it's not funny." I laughed and said "Probably because you haven't finished packing up." Miranda then gave me the middle finger.

She said "Aiight,I will text you mañana because I gotta finish packing and I do not want my mother to get angry at me. Goodnight my love." I waved and said "Night, Miranda. Talk to you tomorrow." I then closed my computer.

I checked my phone and saw that Cody texted me and I didn't respond. He texted me what's up. I texted him back saying that I was face timing a friend.

Cody's pov

Taylor texted me back. I looked at my phone and saw that she texted me back. Her text said that she was face timing a friend. I felt like I ruined it.

I texted her sorry if I was being annoying. She texted me back saying that I wasn't being annoying and that it she didn't mind me texting her.

We then had a conversation talking about school,music,shows,and random stuff.

Cody🐺: Ansley's show is gonna be sick!!! Can't wait!!
Taylor✌️: Yeah, I know!!! I'm actually excited tbh. Her last show kinda made me feel uncomfortable.
Cody🐺: Yeah, I get what you mean. I don't mind people smoking weed, it's just chill out,man. Go smoke outside or something.
Taylor✌️: Exactly!!! It gave me and Emily a horrible headache.
Cody🐺: Same. Except I actually almost passed out. Especially since I was in the pits and crowd surfing and stage diving.
Taylor✌️: Damn!!!! I was crowd surfing, but I'm not a giant fan of stage diving.
Cody🐺: It's not bad,but some people end up dropping others. Which I don't mind.
Taylor✌️: I bruise easily. I've been dropped crowd surfing, before. but stage diving,idk. It seems more brutal and it depends how hard you can take falling down.
Cody🐺: true. I just want this week to be over.
Taylor✌🏼️:same. Talk to you tomorrow?
