Chapter 6

Kellin's Point of View

After my date with Vic that was amazing I decided to go back home. I went to my room and I laid on my bed. I looked beside me and I saw a little note. It was folded in half, I opened it and I started reading.

I warned you Kells, don't wait to long for me I'm coming ;)

Once I finished reading the note I started shaking. I looked around the room and I didn't see anyone in here. I got up from my bed and I went to the bathroom. I checked to see if anyone was in there and there wasn't. I tried to calm myself down, I turned on the sink water and I wet my face. I looked up and I saw something in back of me on the mirror. I quickly turned around and I didn't see anyone. I opened the curtain from the tub slowly but there was nothing in there. I went back to my room and I sat on the bed. I breathed in and out trying to calm myself. Once I stopped shaking I thought about calling Vic. I decided against it and I got under the covers. I fell asleep in a couple of minutes and started dreaming.

"Well look what we have here. I have been waiting for this moment so long." A man with a mask said.

"P-please let me g-go." I whimpered.

"Oh why would I do that? I love you Kellin and you will learn to love me soon." He said and chuckled. I started hearing screams and pleads from the other room. The voice sounded familiar until I found out it was Vic.

"Leave him alone!" I exclaimed. He started laughing and I couldn't move because I was tied up.

"You are mine Kellin! Vic will die today and you know what's even better?" He asked and I ignored him. He slapped me on the cheek and I started crying because it really hurt. My cheek started feeling numb and I tried to put my hand on my cheek forgetting that my hands were tied up.

"Answer my question!" He shouted.

"What is even b-better?" I asked.

"Vic will die in front of you." He said and started laughing evilly. I hear a door open and I looked over to see someone dragging Vic over to us.

"Vic!" I exclaimed crying.

"Kellin!" He said trying to get away from the guy.

"K-kellin I want y-you to save yourself. I a-am going to d-die today but I want y-you t-to get a-away from them." He said crying and I shook my head.

"No you are not going to die today!" I exclaimed.

"Yes I am. F-find some other g-guy that w-will love you." He said and I whimpered.

"Oh stop with this shit." The man said and grabbed me by the hair. He turned me to Vic and the other man started tying Vic up. The man let me go and I saw that he took out a gun.

"Say bye to Vic." He said and he pressed the trigger.

"N-no!" I shouted and started crying because the bullet hit Vic on the head. I started sobbing and I wanted to die so much.

I woke up and I looked around the room. I felt tears falling down my cheeks. My room was all dark and I didn't know what to do. I started sobbing because I was really scared. I calmed myself down a bit and I got my phone. I looked at the time and it was 2am. I decided to call Vic because I couldn't go back to sleep alone. I hope he doesn't mind. I called Vic and he answered on the 3rd ring.

"Hello?" He answered his voice really groggy.

"Hey Vic I'm so sorry to bug you but I am really scared and earlier I got a note by the same man. I feel like I'm not the only one in this room and I don't know what to do. I want to go back to sleep but I can't. I might sound really childish right now but I-I'm scared." I said.

"I'll be over in a bit don't worry I'll take you to my house so you can feel more safe." He said.

"Okay but please hurry." I said still crying.

"Don't worry baby I'll be there in a bit." He said and I hung up the phone. I got out of bed and I turned the light on and I grabbed my TOMS. I put them on and I put my hoodie on. I grabbed my phone and I put it in my back pocket. My phone started ringing and it was Vic. I picked up the phone and he told me that he was outside.

I switched the light off and I walked out of my room. I walked through the hall passing the living room. I walked out the door locking it and I ran downstairs. Once I made it to the parking lot I saw Vic's car. He unlocked the door and I stepped inside. He looked really tired and I felt bad for waking him up.

"I'm sorry for waking you up Vic." I said feeling really bad.

"It's ok I told you that whenever you were scared to call me. I am glad you called me." He said giving me a sleepy sweet smile. He reached over and grabbed my hand. I squeezed it and he started driving to his house. I wonder what his house looks like, I have never been there.

"So what happened?" He asked.

"I had a horrible dream. The man that was trying to take me killed you in front of me." I said.

"Oh don't worry that won't happen." He said and gave me another smile. We made it to his house in a couple of minutes. He parked in the driveway and his house was beautiful. It wasn't too big and it wasn't too small. He opened the door for me and we walked to the doorstep. He unlocked the door with his keys and we stepped inside. We walked upstairs and to his room. He laid on his bed under the covers and I just stood there awkwardly.

"Come on Kell." He said with open arms. I went to his bed and I laid down with him. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I wasn't so scared anymore. I felt safe in his arms. I drifted off in a deep sleep faintly hearing his heartbeat.
