Ann POV

Des caught up with me after her 'talk' with the boy. We walked to Mal and Evie's room and sat on Evie's bed. Jay and Carlos came in.

"Did your plan work with Jane? Are you going over to see the wand?" Jay asked Mal.

"Do you think that I will be going through every single spell in this book if I hadn't completely struck out?" Mal snapped.

"Oh, someone's in a bad mood"

"My mom is counting on me! I can't let her down." Mal said

"We can do this if we stick together" Jay said.

"And we won't go back until we do," Mal said "Because we're rotten..."

"To the core" We all finished.

"Oh yeah, I found out that fairy godmother blesses Ben with the wand at the coronation and we all get to go" Evie said. Des looked at me and Evie.

"We have nothing to wear, of course." Des and Evie said together. Then there was a knock on the door. Mal walked over and open the door to reveal Ben. He smiled when he saw Mal.

"Hey Mal, I didn't see you guys today I was just wondering if you had any questions or anything... that... you needed..." He asked, mostly to Mal.

"Not that I know of," she replied. She turned to look at us, we all shook our heads and she turned back to Ben.

"Okay alright. Well, uh, if you need anything just uh..."

"Oh wait" Mal stopped him. "Is a truth that we all get to go to your coronation?"

"Yeah the whole school goes."

"Wow that is beyond exciting. Do you think that it's a possibility that the six of us could stand in the front row next to Fairy Godmother just so you could soak up all the goodness?"

"I wish I could. Up front it's just me, my folks and my girlfriend."

"And your girlfriend?" Mal asked

"Yeah. I'm sorry."

"Okay. Thanks, bye!" Mal was about to close the door but Ben stopped.

"Wait, Ann you said you wanted to ask me something." I nodded and walked out of the room.

"I was wondering if there was anyway you could let me see my dad?" Ben thought for a second.

"I'll have to talk to Fairy Godmother about it, first. And can you and Des meet me after practice tomorrow?" I nodded.

"Thank you." I walked back into the dorm.

"... I need a love spell." Mal said.

"Love spell for what?" I asked.

"Mal's going to put a love spell on Ben." Des told me. After some more talking Des and I left and went to our room.

"Do you think it's going to work?" I asked Des.

"It has to... I just has to." Des answered. I turned of the lights and slept.
