Chapter 4

After a week of not coming to school. I finally got a chance to go back. I woke at 4:30 after I went to sleep at 8pm last night. I got dress putting on leggings and sweater. I braided my hair down into two braids , I put a hairband on and out on my toms. Diego was still asleep, I picked him up and got him dressed, I put some extra clothes in a bag. I walked downstairs where Steve was waiting for me.

"What time is it?"I asked

"5:20am" he said

"So I can drive you to school today" he said with a smile.

I got to school really early and headed to the library and started to study. I started to read over all the chapters that I've missed and I missed 10chapters and I only got 5/10 done. I started to read even more and do the challenge when I got a text message.

'We have a court date, on Friday'

'I have school Tyler I cant make it'

'Well, I have full custody over him then'

'WHATT'

'That's what the judge said'

'Tyler why are you doing this to me?'

'You did that to your self'

'You were never there for Diego I was the only one who stayed up for those nights and take care of him'

'Okay but I'm going change, well I changed, I'll see you on Friday'

A tear slid down my face . I couldn't even study. I headed to class and put my head down I was crying my eyes out. I felt someone beside me and I looked up to see Samantha

"Hey, are you okay?" She asked

"Yeah , I'm fine. Just really stressed out" I cover up

"Is with the work? You can take my study notes, it can help you with" she said

"Really? That will really help" I answered

"Want to meet at my at place tonight?" She asked

"Sure " I said she smiled , mr. Crews came inside the classroom and he stared at me. I whipped my eyes and looked away.

"Alright everyone pages 4-5 all questions" I took out my books when I saw Mr. Crews in front of me.

"Can I speak to you out side ?" He questioned.

"Yeah sure." I said as I got up from my seat and followed him.

We stepped outside the classroom and I looked at him

"You missed a week work of class" he said "yes and I know , I've been taking care of a few things but I promise I'll catch up" I said

"Is their something going on? Because I wanted to talk to you about your school work" he said

"I've been going through a lot of stuff and I needed to take care of it" I said

"Well you can't miss another day, or you will be kicked out of this school" he said

"Okay" he opened the door and I stepped in the classroom

I'm almost caught up to almost all my work. I've been working my ass off and letting my dad and his wife take care of Diego. But I've been thinking about the whole Tyler situation and I began to be more stressed out . that's when I called my dad

"Hey baby, hows studying?" He asked

"Good,I'll pick Diego up in the next hour" I answered

"Alright " he answered

"Wait dad, I need to tell you something" I said to him

"What?" He said

"Basically Tyler and I met up and he wanted to share custody and I said no . so he got a lawyer involved and they set up a meeting this Friday in the morning and I have to go to school and he knows that . but since I don't have any option hes making me choose school or Diego and my teacher said that I can't miss another class or I'll be kicked out" I said and began to cry

"Why is he doing this? Okay how about tomorrow you explain the situation to your teacher and tell him so you can go on Friday" he recommended

My dad gave me a good advice I started to feel better and I continued my work .

Diego spent a night at my dads. I was on my way to school thinking of things I could say to Mr. Crews , I walked into the classroom and I saw him there early.

"Hi Mr.crews, may I have a word with you?" I asked

"Sure take a seat" he said I sat down in front of him and looked at him

"I was pregnant at 15 and I gave birth to my son Diego who is 3 years old now, I dropped out of school to take care of Diego. The father is not in the picture but hes ruining my life and I've been stressed out and hes wants my son but I can't give it to him cause I've done so much for him, to let Tyler just take him, so Diego got sick with the flu and I had to take care of him and when I was getting back on my feet . Tyler came and told me that on Friday hes taking me to court and if I don't come Diego is his" I said as I started to cry

"I understand what your going through and I'm here for you, let's do this. How about you meet me on Friday after your court date and I teach you" he said

"That's sound like a really good idea" I answered

"Where do I meet you?" I asked

"Come back to the school an we will find a place were we can go. Maybe my place or yours" he said

"Not mine, my mom and Diego get pretty loud" I said and giggled

"Then my place it is" he said

"Alright" I agreed .

I felt like a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I started to think positive again .

"I Denied the custody right of Diego Matthew Pasco to Tyler Eddy Ramos" The judge said, I try to remain my cool and not freak out.

"But I accept the request of sustainable environment for this 3 year old to Narianna Jennifer Pasco" she said as she smiled at me .

"She's a great mother she went to school, took care of him and work her ass off for her kid, she deserves him" my attorney said

"But I'm going to let Mr. Ramos of there to see his son once a week doesn't matter when and its up to you if you want diego to stay a night or visit him for one second" the judge said causing me to smile.

They ended it and I gave an evil smirk to Tyler trying to ruin my life. Hell no.

I got ready for tutoring session with mr.crews. I put on a pink jumpsuit and put my hair back in a bun. Diego was still at my dads and I was going to pick him up after , I walked downstairs into the kitchen were Steve and my mom were making out .

"can you drive me to school?" I asked

"Yeah, I can. Why don't you drive?" My mom asked

"Nope , i'm not really wanting to drive right now" I said

She grabbed her keys and we drove down to the school.
