Chapter 5

The rest of the week had gone by really fast.  The only part sucked was the Emily did not like the friends I hung out with at school. Emily was known as the ‘Popular kid’ even though she invited me to sit with her and her group of friends but I still liked sitting with my group. At the end we agreed that one day a week I sit with her friends and the next week one day she sits with mine.

I woke up on Saturday morning all because my phone wouldn’t stop ringing.

“WHAT?” I yelled into my phone. I am not a morning person.

“Get up, its 11.” Spoke the person on the other end.

“Lilly?” I asked

“Yeah, now get up and get ready, the gang is coming by to pick you up at 1.” Said Lilly

“Oh, Yeah, I forgot you guys were going to show me around” I said

“Tell me where you live and we’ll all come by and met you at your house.” She said

I bit on my lip. Oh no! I couldn’t tell them where I live because they’ll figure out I live with One Direction.

“UMM…I actually don’t know my address yet… wanna met up at the star bucks near school?”  I said

“Sure! Meet you there, byeeee!” she said

I quickly brushed my teeth and made my hair look somewhat descent. I went downstairs nervous about asking the boys if I could hang out with friends. As soon as I went to the kitchen I heard someone humming and I saw Harry cooking. That’s a surprise, harry doesn’t seem like the person to cook. 

“Hey, whatcha cooking?” I asked

“Pancakes, want some?” he said

“Sure thanks!” I said “Hey Harry, mind if I can hang out with friends today at 1? They promised me they would show me around London.”

“ummm sureee, but run it by Liam but you have my approval.” He said

“Ok thanks!” I said after I hugged Harry and I ran into the living room to find Liam. There he was sitting on the couch on his phone along with Niall.

“Hey Liam, is it ok if I hang out with some friends today at 1? They want to show me around London.” I said nervously.

“Umm, how many friends are you going with” he asked with a serious tone and putting his phone down

“Um… 6, I think” I said

“Name them all and what grade?” he asked

“Umm… there are Claire, Lilly, Hannah, and maybe Jake Kyle and Lucas” I said nervously.

“That’s the group of friends you hang out with at school right?” Liam asked

“Yeah” I said nervously while playing with the hem of my shirt.

“Mind if I meet them first?”

“WHAT?” I yelled that was not the respond I was expecting

“What’s so wrong with that Juliet? I know that you don’t have a fatherly figure in your eyes and that’s whom I’m trying to be.” He said calmly

“uhh…ok but you guys are famous soo….” I said hoping he would butt in

“Yeah, ik but since their your close friends at school I want to meet them.” He said

When he said that, my heart melted. Did he actually care about me? I couldn’t believe this the last time someone adopted me never let me hang out with friends and never wanted to be them.
