"You are my 2am thoughts"

1 week later*

"Nate wake up" I say while playing with his hair in bed, I hear small muffled talks come out his mouth

"It's 9:30 get up" I say while stopping my actions and getting up only to be pulled back down

"I can be late" He says his voice deep and sleepy, but he smirks

"Come on it's the first day of work for you, I don't want you to be late" I say while playfully hitting his naked chest

"My heart" He jokes while pretending to clutch his heart

"Shut up" I say rolling my eyes while getting up from the bed once again and heading towards our walk in closet

I turned back around to see Nate heading towards our bathroom, I went inside the walk in closet and picked out an outfit

I picked out some Calvin kelvin underwear and bra to match and removed my black shorts

I felt some eyes on me I turned around and saw Nate staring at me, he smirked and walked over to me

"You can't walk around naked and not expect me to fûck the shit out of you" He whispers in my ears making my legs shake

The alarm went off making me jump out of bed, I looked to my left and saw that Jack was sleeping peacefully

I groaned and headed towards the bathroom, what kind of person am I? Having fûcking dreams about their 6 yr old ex

I washed my face and brushed my teeth, I took a shower the night before so I don't need to shower

I had my hair in braids from the night before so I didn't have to straighten it, I opened it and brushed it

The worst thing is that I'm late for my job interview, yes Jack convinced me to still go out and become Nate's assistant

He kept saying that I might have left over feelings for him and he made me feel guilty so I just let it go

I mean it won't be that bad right?

I drove to the building which only took 15 minutes, it's pretty close to where me and Jack live

I parked my car in one of the empty parking spots, I got my bag and fixed my skirt while getting out

I was wearing a black trench coat with a white knitted crop top and a black pencil skirt, I tried to look presentable when I wanted to wear some sweats

I fixed up my hair and looked in my car mirror for a second and headed towards the building, it was huge and had a big "Maloski" sign on the front of it

I never took Nate to be the person to be running a million dollar business, he wanted to wing it all

I guess things change over time, I checked the time on my phone and I was 30 minutes late

I rushed towards the front door and talked to the front office, they told me where Nate's office was

I went to the elevator and went up 5 floors when it finally opened I rushed out looking at the small signs on the doors

"Maloley" one of the signs read I let out a big breath and knocked on the door quietly nervously

"Come in" I hear a deep voice come from the other side of the door

I opened it slowly, I entered and saw Nate sitting, the office looked nice it was big there were plants and beige chairs

Nate's eyes were on me, It was so awkward let me tell you, I mean I just had a dream about the man only an hour ago

"Sit down" He says his voice coming off shaky but sternly

He looked so grown, I mean he's 23 now why wouldn't he look grown when I looked a little the same but taller

"Can you tell me a little about yourself" He ask looking through a document, I rolled my eyes at the question

You already know enough about me why would you ask?

"My name is Kiin Sole Woods, I'm 22 and I've worked with the Weston company for 3 years until I quit" I said looking at Nate who hasn't looked at me this whole time

"Why did you quit" He says finally looking up at me, he had an unreadable emotion on his face

"Personal reasons" I said not wanting to bring up the fact that my boss sexually harassed me

"Ah, how did you hear about the position" He says his eyes never leaving mine, my heart fell to my stomach

"A friend" I said bluntly

"Why do you want this job" He asks his eyes diverting to my chest

Well I'm broke and I wanna eat.

"I feel like I would be great for this position since I've had experience" I say until someone knocks on the door

"Your 10 o clock appointment is here" Some blonde lady says with perky boobs

"Bring her in, and we'll get back to you, you're very late and that's not a good first impression" He says while standing up fixing his messed up tie

"Forgot the time" I said rolling my eyes and getting up

"Bye Ms. Woods" He says while looking at my ring on my finger, I mouthed bye and left, as I was walking I saw his 10 o clock appointment

She looked so attractive, she looked young and cheerful she was wearing a tight black dress, and her brunette hair falling to her shoulders

I looked at her face she looked so familiar but I couldn't pick up where I've seen her from

Nate just talked to me like we've never met before but let me tell you the memories are killing me.

I don't understand why memories stay but people don't, It was my choice I understand that I didn't give him another chance but it's not my fault.

You don't cheat on someone you love.
