"Baby" me and Nate heard the familiar voice coming from his office, he stops his movements quickly and fixes up his suit

His hands move from my waist and he dashes to his office causing me to fall off the desk, I sat there on my bum shocked

"Baby what are you doing here" I hear Nate's voice as he's talking to probably Kendall

"Well I missed you" I hear Kendall's voice and I can hear some kisses from there and on. What was I expecting? Nate is still the same cheating asshole he's been since high school

I don't know why, but my heart felt like shit. It felt so heavy suddenly, like I can't carry it anymore

I quickly grabbed my purse and rushed out of the office and headed towards the stairs not wanting to wait for the elevator

I ran down the stairs and left the building not wanting to look back, why does everything have to end like this?

What's so wrong with me that I'm okay to be cheated on? I feel like shit constantly but when he kissed me it felt like all my worries washed over

Present day-

My fingers shaking as I tried to type down a email to someone, I didn't know how to start.

I sent it not looking back, I tried to starting off professional, I really didn't wanna work anywhere or be associated with Nate in any way

I closed my laptop in frustration as I heard the door bell ring, I ran downstairs my regular white tee shirt moving around as the air hit me

I opened up the door to see Valerie and Jack with their suitcases, Val had a huge grin on her face. I smiled and hugged her tight, making sure she couldn't breathe

"How about me" Jack says pouting, I smiled and pulled him into a large hug. Even if I saw them only a couple of weeks ago it feels like years.

"Leave me again, I dare you bitches" I said scolding them both, they put their hands up in "surrender" and nodded

Valerie headed towards the kitchen as me and Jack picked up the suitcases and brought them into the house

"You finished everything in the fridge" She says I smile innocently, she was right. I was eating away my problems, I already felt like a whale

"Oops" I say innocently earning a small chuckle from Johnson, I smile widely at them because I've missed them really.

"Don't worry I'll be out soon, I just need to find a new job" I say hiding the sadness behind my voice I could stay here forever if I could

"Nonsense, stay here as long as you want" Johnson says, I smile at him and earning one back

"You'll have to buy extra food for both us girls then" Val says causing Jack to laugh a little, I nod, she's not lying

"Yea yea, I'm gonna go to G' house" Jack says me and Val's attention going directly at him, I look at him as he reminded me that I forgot

"Can I come, with you it won't be awkward so I can get my clothes" I say pleading, he sighs loudly and nods his head

"Thank you, I'll see you in a little Val" I say and she shots me a peace sign as I pick up my phone and some black shades that were on the floor

"Open up Jack" Johnson says as we knock on the door, I stood there my hands sweating. I don't why I was nervous I just prayed that Madison wasn't here

The door opens reveling a shirtless Jack and a towel around his torso, my eyes immediately go down to his beautiful abs

I looked back up before he saw me staring, he was just looking at Johnson and then back at me, Johnson then back at me again

He had an unreadable expression on his face, I pushed past him and quickly got into well my former apartment, It spelled very different

It usually smelled like cookies or some fresh plants, now it smells like overused expensive perfume, I head towards me and Jack's old room and go to my closet

I don't spot any of my clothes, my heart fell to the floor. Did he already get rid of my clothes, I angrily stomped back to the living room where Jack and Jack were having a conversation

"Where the fuck is my clothes" I say in calm matter but really inside I'm gonna blow up like a Twinkie

"It's in the other bedroom, Madis-" I cut him off my ignoring what else he was gonna say and headed towards our extra room

All my clothes were inside of my other suitcases, my shoes were in a separate suitcase, I sighed in relief. I wasted over thousands of dollars with all of my clothes

I picked them up and hugged my suitcase for a second, I heard yelling coming from the living, I overheard Johnson yelling at Jack

"Why the fuck would you cheat dumbass, and especially with a girl that just came out of high school" Johnson spats at Jack causing him to roll his eyes at Johnson

"Is it any of your business man, no exactly." Jack sasses back at Johnson, he's so childish. I rolled my eyes and left the room

"Shut the fuck up Jack, no one really cares if you're dating some 6 year old. You're an ignorant ass, and oh how glad am I not to have married your ass" I spat, I haven't said anything towards him that was rude after I found out he cheated

It felt really good just letting it out, my heart felt a little okay after I said those words. They weren't all of the words I wanted to say

I wanted to tell him I loved him, and how much I wish this was all fake and how much I wish I could just run back into his arms

To tell him that I missed him every moment of the day even if he cheated, my heart still aches for him. The morning where's he made us breakfast and we sat and made jokes

"You don't mean that" Jack says i roll my eyes and give two suitcases to Johnson as I grab another two

As I bent down to pick them up someone turns me around by wrist and pins me up against the bedroom wall causing me to gasp in surprise

"I'm sorry" Jack mutters before he smashes his lips onto mines, I stood there in shock not knowing how to respond

Next thing you know our lips moved in sync, it was like they were made for each other, like I fell back into his trap. My heart exploded into a million pieces.
