Amelly's POV
'Babe?' Ben mind linked me when I was examining a patient.
'Yeah?' I replied and smiled at the patient when I finished examine him.
'When are you coming home? I miss you.' He told me in a baby voice, making me smile.
'I miss you too, babe. I'll be home before dinner. Just got to help Red Moon pack's hospital a bit.' I replied while I sat down in my new temporary office.
'Why?' He whined and I just chuckled at his behavior.
'You know why. The pack doctor is on a medical leave and I really want to help. Besides, you were the one who suggested that I should help here because you were afraid that I would get brainwashed by those pregnant she-wolves.' I teased and I could practically hear him groaned in frustration.
'Ben? I'm just kidding. They need me here especially when Blake is still not awake.' I explained.
'Yeah about that. How's Lily holding on? Any news on them?' He asked.
'I think it's not the wolfsbane that is doing this to him. I took his blood and did some test.' I said.
'What do you mean?' He worriedly asked.
'I don't know yet as the results not out yet but I think someone poiso-' I was cut by Lily. She was frantically running towards Blake's room.
'Babe?' Ben called out.
'Yeah? Oh sorry. I got to go. I just saw Lily running to Blake's room and her face was not a good sign.' I explained and headed towards her.
"SOMEONE HELP!!!!" Lily screamed and I quickly dashed towards her.
"Call the alpha! You come with me." I shouted orders to the nurses.
When I walked in, I was stunned but hurriedly got to work. Blake was awfully pale and blood was running down at his nose and mouth.
"Lily? I need you to go out." I instructed but she growled.
"NO!" It wasn't her. Her wolf has taken over and that wasn't good. She could easily lose control.
"Fine. But please stay there where you won't disturb us to work on him and please control your wolf." I sternly said and she reluctantly agreed by walking at the corner of the room.
'Babe? What's happening?' Ben asked and I quickly explained the situation before cutting off our mind linked. So I can concentrate on saving Blake.
