After the collapsed, it has been days with me receiving various medication. I knew what the pills did to me but I had no power to protest them.
Every single day, I would be given a sky blue pill, blood red pill and a jet black pill. The colour itself shows the intensity of pain they gave me.
From the constant timetable that they gave, I could figure out what they did.
First they would give me the red ones, as I consumed it, my body and werewolf felt weaker. So it contains one and only - wolfsbane.
Secondly, at night they would give me the black ones and after that the blue pill.
Eating the black pill, at first it didn't show any kind of reaction but after a few hours, my body felt like it's going to tear apart. And the more I eat, the bond between my wolf and I felt like it was breaking apart just like what happened to Blake.
The blue ones was soothing. When they noticed the intense pain I felt after I ate the black pills, they began to give me the blue ones. It would always soothed the pain.
"Hey." The same girl, who would always sneaks in here just to hide from her dad's training, pulled me from my thought. This days, she was always accompanying me and letting my worries go away. She was becoming more like a sister to me. She even told me that her dreams were becoming a doctor just like Amelly. Maybe that's why, she reminded me of my family.
"Here." She handed me a transparent pills. I looked baffled.
"I hate it when they gave you pills that aren't even suppose to use it on werewolves unreasonably." She explained.
"What?" I looked at her confuse. How would she know what they gave me. Whenever it was the time to take my medication, I would asked her to leave. I didn't like the idea of her seeing me going weak. For some reasons, I didn't like her seeing me like this.
"How?" I asked and she just gave me a proud smirked.
"I knew everything that goes around here. And I know who you are and what they want from you." She said and sat comfortably on the chair next to me.
"You're Lily Wayne. Uncle Xavier's daughter. But I don't actually know why your last namr is not similar with Uncle Xavier." She stated and I could only nod.
"How I know about Xavier Reed? Sinple because I'm awesome." She proudly said but sighed when I didn't give any reaction.
"Like us now. Before you came, I would always hang out with him. He would always tell me stories about the past - his past." She continued.
"I miss him." She spoke softly but my ears could still catched them.
"How's my dad?" I quickly asked.
"You've met him?" She asked and I nodded rashly.
"He's doing fine but his wolf's gone. Permanently. I've tried everything to find a way to bring him back but nothing work. My powers aren't fully awake." She frustatedly replied.
"Anyway where was I? Oh yeah. And then I met Tom. Before the kidnapping, every night he would get drunk and rambled about how sorry he is and this is wrong. You know Taylor Swift kind of stuff. I was always there for him when he wanted an extra shoulder and a pair of ears. At first,I didn't understand what he meant until you arrive." She explained further as she looked me up and down.
"And my curiousity grew, I used an invisiblity spell to sneak in Alpha Max's office when he was discussing with the others. There I knew what he wanted. What cruelty doings he did." She explained and slumpled tiredly on the bed.
"But on the bright side, in less than a week- to be more specific, in five days, I'm going to have my sixteen birthday and finally I would be able to find my mate. I've got a strong guess that it's him but not completely sure." She told me suddenly.
"Who?" I curiously asked. It's a good thing she changed the topic. The room was getting heavier and was starting to suffocate.
"Tom." She shyly confessed.
"Tom? Tom Greene? Alpha Tom from the Blue Moon Pack? My Tom?" I asked and her eyes instantly changed red.
"Mine." She instictively answered and I just smiled while her face began to change colour.
"Well. Ahh - Here. It's a medicine that would fight the wolfsbane and gives your wolf strength. It's usually used when the go to war." She handed me the pill again.
"Thanks but why?" I asked after I swallowed it.
"You're a very important person to Tom and I know that he's going to regret it if you died." She simply replied.
Tom, I wished you notice her. I thought and just smiled happily at her. I'm relieved to know that he has someone else that cares about him other than us.
"Do you know what pills they gave me? I'm guessing the red one is wolfsbane but the black. I have no clue." I asked her.
"Both of them are wolfsbane. It's just that the black contains witchcraft. That's why you don't have to worry about your bond. It can be restored -" I cut her off by asking ; "Then how come my dad's wolf is gone?"
"As I was saying, you'll be fine since the amount is still too little to do any permanent damages. But since Uncle Xavier had been given a long time ago." She explained and I looked down defeated.
"Don't worry. I won't give up. I'll find the cure." She assure me.
"Now, if only I knew any ancient witch." She mumbled and I quickly pulled my head up.
"I know one. She goes by the name Elma." I told her and her eyes grew wider.
"No kidding. She's like one of my favourite witch." She said. Ectasy with the news.
"Really?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah! My mom hates her. She once fought with her and she lost. Well evil always lose but don't tell Alpha Max that." She and I chuckled at her remark.
"Summer, you always know how to cheer me up." I said and she blushed as usual. She's so innocent.
"Well, I'm not doing this for you. It's for Tom." She looked away and I just nodded.
"Thanks for being by his side." I thanked and she just shrugged coolly.
"Well. I need to go now. Got magic lessons with mom." She said while she walked out of the room.
