Chapter 8: Melanie's sorrow
Melanie was devastated after finding out about her sister's true intentions. Susan, the girls' widowed mother, disowned Daniella and forced her to leave their house.
Susan: Sweetheart, go to Ian.
Mel: But mom, I can't let you be all by yourself.
Susan: Sweety, your aunt Ruth is coming to visit me. I told her about Daniella.
Mel: I don't want to hear her name mom!
Susan: Mel honey, you need Ian. He's the only one who can who can relieve you of your pain.
So Mel went to Ian's house, where Ian, Anthony, and Kalel aslo were. She was a mess. Her long blonde hair was unkept, her shirt was wet with her tears of pain. Mel walked and walked until she reached Ian's house she knocked on the door.
Mel: Ian...IAN!
Ian opens the door, suprised to see a worn-out Melanie. A few seconds later, Melanie faints.
Ian: Melanie! Melanie open your eyes! Melanie!
Ian rushes to his car, carrying Mel in his arms. While driving Melanie to the hospital, he calls Anthony. But he and Kalel were asleep in eachother's arms.
Ian: Dammit Anthony! Answer the phone!
Ian reaches the hospital and Melanie is being looked after by the doctor.
Ian: Doctor! What happened to Melanie?
Doctor: How are you related to Melanie?
Ian: I'm her fiance.
Yes, that's right! They were engaged and you all never knew till now!
Doctor: Oh...alright. She has been...
